00:00I've been told you're a massive fan of history, so what are you off to do?
00:03History, Sheffield, yeah, yeah.
00:06And what praise did you get?
00:07Three A's.
00:08Amazing, and what made you choose Sheffield, because we're biased but we love Sheffield here.
00:12Yeah, yeah, so I'm too much of a homebar to move away.
00:15I thought about not seeing it, but it was just too much for me.
00:20But history at Sheffield is a really good course, so I was more than happy to do that.
00:24And, yeah, I can go home and have hugs whenever I want.
00:27Exactly, and I've been told you like a little bit of performing and musical theatre, that kind of thing.
00:33Do you think you'll do any at uni at Sheffield?
00:34Oh, absolutely.
00:35Yeah?
00:35Yeah, there are two societies I have my eye on, for me, so, yeah.
00:40And what have you got in your grade today?
00:42So, I got two A's and a C.
00:44And where does that mean you can go?
00:46So, my firm, I'm hopefully going, well I'm going to Manchester Metropolitan,
00:50but I'm hopefully going through Clearing to go to uni to do politics and law.
00:55Oh my God, exciting. And how did you choose those?
00:57Erm, so, I was meant to, well, I'm meant to be doing business management at Manchester Met,
01:02but I think just how well I've done today, and obviously over the summer I've been thinking about it,
01:08because I've had the time. I feel like when, when I was picking my uni, I didn't really,
01:11I didn't really think about it because I was so focused on my A-levels.
01:14Erm, but now I think I'm going to go with what my heart wants to do.
01:19Yeah.
01:19And you mentioned to me that, obviously, you've done quite a big turnaround since your mom.
01:23Yeah.
01:23So, is that part of the reason why you changed where you want to go?
01:26Erm, yeah. So, I actually generally did not think I would get into any Russell group whatsoever.
01:31I thought, no, that's not for me. Erm, no one would, you know, I did get accepted actually,
01:36but I declined their offers because I was like, I'm not going to get in.
01:38I declined uni of Liverpool and uni of Nottingham because I was like, I don't, you know,
01:43it's not going to happen. Erm, yeah, today I've just decided that I do definitely want
01:48to be in Manchester, so I might as well give it a go with the uni of, yeah.
01:52Yeah, fingers crossed.
01:53Hopefully, yeah.
01:54Have you got any exciting plans tonight to celebrate?
01:56Yeah, so I'm going out for dinner with my family and then I'm going out, going out,
02:00we're going to the corporation and there's like the resorts, you know, like the Ledmore,
02:04they've moved into corporations, so that's exciting. And then I'm going to Mallorca tomorrow,
02:08so, yeah, it was like it was going to be a bedtime.
02:12I took maths, geography and philosophy and ethics at high schools and I've got AAA for exams.
02:20Well done, amazing. And where are you off to?
02:22I'm off to St Andrews in Scotland, so I'm absolutely stoked, that was my first choice and,
02:26yeah, I wouldn't be happy to be honest.
02:28Yeah, Scotland, mate. Have you gone and travelled up to visit?
02:32Yeah, yeah, we've gone loads of times, but maybe once at Andrews, so kind of a new experience,
02:36but it's going to be absolutely lovely. I can't wait for it.
02:39Yeah, and your teachers have told me that you're quite helpful in school,
02:41do you want to tell me a bit about that?
02:42Yeah, so I used to kind of volunteer doing green t-shirts and used to help out during lunchtime,
02:47doing dinner queues and keeping other children in order, so yeah, it's quite a somewhat big role,
02:55but you just kind of manage the school really alongside the teachers,
02:58so it was really nice to talk to them as well and get to know the teachers.
