00:07his leadership and vision for Colombia's future were evident throughout his years of public
00:12service to the nation and the Colombian people. His vision encouraged and commitment to his
00:18country, encouraged countless individuals at home throughout the world and his contributions
00:23to Colombia's democratic future, though obscenely halted, will endure and inspire future generations.
00:30As Secretary Marco Rubio has said, the United States stands in solidarity with Senator Uribe's
00:36family and the Colombian people, both in mourning and demanding justice for those responsible.
00:44And Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau will travel to Bogota today to attend the memorial
00:50services for the Senator on Wednesday, August 13th.
