For the first time in history, the US Army has shot down a UAV using an FPV interceptor drone armed with a Claymore mine.
The test, carried out by the 173rd Airborne Brigade at Fort Rucker, saw the SkyRaider FPV neutralise an aerial target during a simulated dogfight.
The technology, inspired by tactics from the Russia–Ukraine war, could reshape the future of drone warfare.
🎯 Innovation, speed, and firepower — the battlefield will never be the same again!
