00:01Whenever I wake up and I feel stressed or anxious, these are the things I do.
00:05Number one, I put my hands on my heart.
00:08I call this giving my heart a high five.
00:10And I say these three sentences.
00:13I'm okay, I'm safe, I'm loved.
00:16Number two, when I wake up stressed and agitated,
00:19do not lie in bed and stare at the ceiling and think about your problems.
00:24I say, I'm not thinking about that.
00:25Use the five second rule.
00:26Five, four, three, two, one.
00:28I'm going to roll out of bed.
00:30Number four, high five yourself in the mirror.
00:32Send yourself into the day with the encouragement that you need.
00:35Go get them.
00:36Number five, a journal.
00:38That's it.
00:39Get all that stress out of your mind and down on paper.
00:42And then with a clear head, I write down the five things that I really want or that I'm dreaming about.
00:47And that way you bring the stuff that you dream about from the back of your mind to the front of your mind.
00:52And it guides your day.
00:54High five.
