MAN SHOCKED AS POD OF WILD HUMPBACK WHALES SURROUND HIS BOAT WITH VID By Ben Rudd Check out the amazing moment a wild pod of humpback whales swarmed around a man’s boat while he was out on a trip with his daughter. Beno Webbsta, 37, was out with his daughter, 12, exploring the ocean, when suddenly a pod of humpback whales started to surround the boat. Incredibly, the whales started to breach out of the water in front of the pair, and swam around them as they watched on. The whales could be seen making splashes and creating sounds as they approached Beno and his daughter. This footage was filmed in Hervey Bay Queensland Australia, on the sixth of August, 2025. Beno, from Queensland, Australia, said: “We got more than we bargained for on our day out on the boat. “We had the ultimate experience with wild humpback whales mugging and surrounding their boat. “A very exciting experience with these gentle giants of the ocean.” ends
