00:45Our goal is to make Manila as a center of culinary excellence in Asia.
00:51People fly here, we'll have fun, and we really take Filipino food to the next level.
00:56It's bringing chefs from all over the world.
00:59We have chefs here that are Filipino from Paris to Seattle to Toronto to Melbourne.
01:06It's the first time that I think that we're all convening here in Manila
01:09to really honor, discover, and innovate Filipino food.
01:28Mayroon itong corn ginataan, lemon, at Thai basil.
01:32Corn is very popular in the States, and it's very popular here.
01:36Growing up in America, we ate cream corn, which is like, you know, very classic America.
01:41And I love a dish that my mom makes, which is ginataan.
01:44So I basically took those two ideas and combined it together.
02:06toyo, miso, grilled yellow and red onions, chives, at iba pa.
02:11It's a dish that my dad cooked for me growing up.
02:14One of my favorite dishes, and of course, always with a cup of rice.
02:18That's why I wanted to share it, but in a different way.
