00:19You're standing at the edge of a new season, but you won't cross over because you're too loyal to the old you.
00:28The version of you that's addicted to comfort, the version that plays small to make others feel big, the version that needs constant validation to feel valuable.
00:42And let me tell you something tonight, until you confront your comfort zone, you will never enter into your calling.
00:52You keep saying you're ready for more, but your patterns are programmed for less.
00:59You become friends with dysfunction.
01:03You've made peace with mediocrity.
01:06You've given your comfort zone a crown it does not deserve.
01:11And now it's ruling over your destiny like it owns the place.
01:17The old you is not your friend.
01:19The old you is not your covering.
01:22The old you is your prison.
01:25And God sent me to tell you it's time to break out.
01:29You've learned how to survive in brokenness.

01:36You've built routines around your wounds.

03:26If I'm going to move forward, I've got to take responsibility for what I keep allowing in my life.
03:34That comfort zone is costing you too much.
03:38You've become so good at surviving that you've forgotten how to live.
03:43You wake up each day on autopilot, doing what's familiar, repeating routines that look productive, but are actually paralyzing your purpose.

04:03That's who you had to be to survive the last season.
04:07But now, God is calling you to something greater.
04:11And the you that God is calling won't be born in the comfort zone.

04:25Fire doesn't ask for permission.

04:29Fire consumes.
04:31And I hear God saying, I want to set fire to everything that's keeping you average.
04:37I want to burn away the excuses, burn away the fears, burn away the insecurity, burn away the need to be liked.
04:48You can't be anointed and addicted to approval at the same time.
04:54You can't carry oil and still crave comfort.
04:58You're waiting on God to change your life.
05:01But God is waiting on you to we kill the old you.
05:05And it starts right here.
05:08It starts with the decision to confront every place where you've become too comfortable.
05:15You've been sleeping in the tomb of your potential.
05:19But I hear the voice of the Lord saying, come forth.
05:25You've been in that grave too long.
05:28You've been silent too long.
05:31You've been waiting on a sign.
05:33But the sign is this moment right now.
05:36This is the alarm clock of your spirit.
05:39It's time to wake up.
05:41It's time to rise up.
05:44It's time to kill the old you.

06:23That agreement is subtle.
06:27It's not always loud.
06:28It shows up in your silence.
06:31It shows up in the way you shrink when opportunity knocks.
06:36It shows up in how you second guess the favor on your life.
06:40It shows up in how you sabotage relationships because deep down you still believe you're not worth of love.
06:51That's the contract talking.
06:53That's the agreement you made with pain.
06:57That's the covenant you made with trauma.
07:00That's the whisper of the old you trying to keep the new you from being born.
07:06You see, some of us didn't even know we signed the agreement.
07:13We signed it with every lie we believed.
07:17We signed it with every time we said, I guess this is just how life is.
07:22We signed it when we accepted the labels people put on us.
07:27Rebellious.
07:28Difficult.
07:29Unworthy.
07:31Broken.
07:32We accepted them because we were too hard tired to fight.
07:36We were too hurt to hope.
07:38And little by little, we built an entire life around an identity God never gave us.
07:45But God didn't call you to live under the weight of what happened to you.
07:51He didn't call you to build a future based on a past you never chose.
07:57Yes.
07:58Hurt.
07:58Yes, it marked you.
08:00But just because it happened, I told you, doesn't mean it has to live through you.
08:07You've been living according to what wounded you instead of what God spoke over you.
08:14But there comes a moment where you've got to tear up the old contract.
08:20You've got to say, this agreement no longer serves me.
08:26This version of me is expired.
08:29The enemy doesn't fight the old you.
08:32He fights the becoming you.
08:34He fights the version of you that's breaking free from cycles.
08:41The version that's no longer interested in playing small.
08:45The version that refuses to be who the trauma trained you to be.
08:50That's where the war is.
08:54That's why the closer you get to healing, the louder the voices from your past become.
08:59Because the enemy knows, if you ever break the agreement, if you ever step into who you really are, he won't be able to stop you.
09:12You can't keep resurrecting what God is trying to kill.
09:16Stop going back to dead things.
09:20Stop entertaining thoughts that tell you're not enough.
09:24Stop speaking words over yourself that don't align with your assignment.
09:32You weren't created to live in fear.
09:34You weren't created to repeat cycles.
09:37You weren't created to beg for scraps when God called you to abundance.
09:43Every time you say, this is just how I am, you are reinforcing a lie.
09:50You are giving CPR to the corpse of your old self.
09:54Some of you are in covenant with your coping mechanisms.
09:59You are in covenant with your bitterness.
10:03In covenant with your insecurity.

10:07And now you are trying to build a new life on top of old foundations.

10:20The new thing God wants to do in you requires a clean break.
10:25You've got to cut ties with the version of you that made peace with average.

13:05We picture blessings, applause, open doors.
13:09But you know what becoming really is?
13:13It's breaking.
13:14It's shedding.
13:15It's being misunderstood.
13:18It's walking through fire and coming out with scars that prove you die and die in the middle of the transition.
13:27Because before God ever takes you up, he takes you through.
13:32Before you walk in power, you walk through pain.
13:36Before resurrection, there must be a crucifixion.
13:41You cannot carry the oil without paying the price.
13:45You can't become who you were born to be while still clanging who you've been pretending to be.
13:54The old you can't survive in the territory you're headed to.
13:59That version of you wasn't built for purpose.
14:03It was built for protection.
14:05That old mindset was forged in the furnace of survival.
14:11But survival, you won't serve you in the season of purpose.
14:16You've got to be willing to lose your comfort in order to gain your calling.
14:23Some of you are wondering why it feels like everything is falling apart.
14:28Why friends are leaving?
14:30Why your name isn't being called?
14:33Why doors are slamming in your face?
14:37Why it feels like God went silent right when you got serious?
14:42Can I tell you, it's not the enemy.
14:45It's the process.
14:47You prayed for purpose.
14:48And now God is pruning everything that can't go with you.
14:54He's cutting the dead weight.
14:56He's shaking the shake, the shallow connections.
15:00He's peeling back the layers you didn't even know you had.
15:06Because he loves you too much to elevate a version of you that's not authentic.
15:12You say you want to be anointed, but do you know how olive oil is made?
15:19The olive has to be crushed, pressed, squeezed.
15:23That pressure isn't punishment.
15:26It's preparation.
15:28That crushing isn't cruelty.
15:30It's calling.
15:31God is using the pain to extract the oil.
15:36You want the blessing, but are you ready for the breaking that comes before it?
15:42Because in God's kingdom, a pain is the price of purpose.

16:28It'll cost you the comfort of routine.
16:32It'll cost you the applause of people who liked the version of you that didn't walk in power.
