00:00I'll get the guards, the guards, from my generation, I'll take them back
00:22Come on, come on, come on
00:24Let's get it out
00:25Let's get it out
00:28Let's get it out
00:29Let's get it out
00:31Don't give a lot, the money
00:33We're in this together
00:35Don't do it all
00:36They say, nothing's forever
00:39And they refuse to see the change in me
00:42Why won't they wake up?
00:48Hey, I'm Sonya, now we're here in Delhi, it's the start of the World Tour of India
00:52And over the next hour, we're gonna show you all the stuff that happens behind the scenes on the World Tour of India
00:58We're gonna do three shows in three cities over three days, hectic schedule
01:02I'm looking forward to it and I know the guys are too
01:04And then other guys are too
01:06Listen
01:08Thank you
01:10Thank you
01:12Thank you
01:14Thank you
01:16Thank you
01:18New Delhi airport, it's the early hours of the morning
01:46and while many are quiet and sleepy, others are getting ready.
02:05I didn't know what to expect before I came to India.
02:13I've never really seen too much of India except for what I see on TV.
02:20I didn't really have expectations. I didn't really know what to think.
02:28You can tell somebody all you want what this is like, but until you hear it and experience it firsthand, there is no telling.
02:34Make sure that one comes in this way.
02:38I was really kind of, you know, mind blown after the first day.
02:43After years, the wait is over.
02:51I was here in India in 1992 and I absolutely loved the time I spent here.
03:00So two o'clock in the morning and it's a bunch of weary wrestlers that step off the plane.
03:08Well, most of them weary.
03:10I'm here, y'all. I'm here.
03:16It's been six years since their last visit, but now they're back.
03:20Bags loaded, bodies aching and it's a quick bus ride to the hotel and some much needed rest.
03:26The arrival when we got off the plane was a long travel day.
03:38It was a nice crowd there to greet us and it was good.
03:42It made the travel worth it.
03:44I knew what to expect when I got here, but I think for a lot of our guys, the first night's ride in from the.
04:11It's interesting because it's what I remember from the first time I was here is the first bus ride we all took was dead silence.
04:20And that's very odd for a group of wrestlers.
04:23And same thing this time.
04:25We drove from the airport to the hotel and we actually drove through a very nice area of town as the boys would later find out.
04:32But I remember seeing guys just getting off that bus, you know, just blank face.
04:40Booker T was actually white.
04:44Ten o'clock in the morning and after a few hours sleep, it's time to get this show on the road.
04:49The quiet of Delhi Sheraton Hotel transformed overnight with the arrival of some of the biggest names in world wrestling.
04:56And everyone wanted to meet them.
04:58Yeah, I mean, I'm in actually pretty good shape.
05:13You know, I wake up, I feel good.
05:15You know, I do.
05:16You look at the big guys.
05:17Oh, my back, this, that.
05:19You know, I don't have any problems like that.
05:22I like to think of it.
05:23We're the best of the Hollywood actors and the best of the best athletes out there.
05:27And we combine them.
05:28And what we do is better than a lot of other people out there.
05:31Rob Van Dam's kicked my head off a few times.
05:34So Jerry actually is the only person that knocked me unconscious, kicked me in the face.
05:39I was out for about 10 minutes.
05:40That was fun.
05:41I, you know, it's tough to, I don't know.
05:44I don't know how much I can take.
05:46For those who say it's fake, try to do what we do for one week.
05:50Try the schedule.
05:51For their favorite piece of sound.
05:57You on the show tonight?
05:59Alright.
06:09What does that say?
06:19I don't know.
06:20I wasn't sure what to expect when I got to India.
06:23And I wasn't sure, you know, if people could speak English.
06:28But practically everybody speaks English.
06:31And the people are some of the friendliest people I've seen anywhere I've ever gone.
06:36They were friendly people and very hospitable.
06:39That was very, you know, very nice.
06:43Now Spike and Zelo aren't the only ones who have been kept busy on this tour.
06:46Tess is scheduled to make a personal appearance at one of the stores here in Delhi.
06:50And he's been causing mayhem everywhere he goes.
06:52Crowds following him and everything.
06:54So this should be fun.
06:55Now don't forget also there's tons of guys who are working backstage,
06:58getting the rig set up and everything.
07:00And that's all for the show tonight.
07:03Delhi's indoor stadium was the venue for the show.
07:05And inside work had been going on since early morning.
07:09The stadium had seen over 20,000 people come to watch the biggest Bollywood stars.
07:14But today it was being transformed into a wrestling arena.
07:18It takes about two hours to set up the ring.
07:20This is what we call ladder frame sections.
07:23Behind you here in the corner of the waterfalls,
07:26those things weigh about 100 to 150 pounds a piece.
07:29They're solid steel.
07:30The whole ring, basically 90% of the ring is steel.
07:37Once that's in, then we'll finish up the framing.
07:39Square it up to the trussing.
07:41And then we'll put those steel tubes over there on the floor.
07:46Those are laying here across the sides.
07:48Then on top of that, put some 20 foot wood flanks.
07:51Top of that, a bit of wrestling foam.
07:54Then a canvas over the top, put some ropes on, and it's done.
07:58Guys, stick that over there.
08:07Yeah, we're going to stick this over here.
08:10What are you doing with that big black thing?
08:13Contrary to a popular band, I have built this ring once or twice.
08:29The media attention here is going to be great.
08:31I mean, media attention is positive no matter how you look at it,
08:34especially for us.
08:35India is a new experience for me.
08:37It'll be a new experience for all the guys.
08:39I think everybody's really looking forward to coming here and performing.
08:43Back at the hotel, the man in demand is Test.
08:46The WWE sets up lots of promotional visits during their tours
08:50for both sponsors and fans alike.
08:53This time Test was off to visit the fans at a local health store.
08:58Hey, this one is it?
09:00This is a door. Thank you, John, I think.
09:02Oh, no.
09:03Oh, you're my mother?
09:05Huh?
09:06Geez.
09:07Yeah, no pleasing her.
09:09Hello?
09:11Yes.
09:12Uh, this is Test.
09:14Are you a testicle?
09:15This is what I came all the way to.
09:19Right here.
09:20This is what it's all about.
09:21Some kind of foreign candy.
09:25It's going to taste god awful.
09:34Oh, my God.
09:35I'm the biggest testicle in India.
09:37I'm a big testicle.
09:38There you go, my man.
09:40I really didn't expect to be as recognized here as I am back in North America.
09:45But everybody here knows who I am.
09:47Everybody's coming up and running and telling me how they're huge fans.
09:50They're huge testicles.
09:51They're looking forward to the shows that we're having here this week.
09:54And I think everybody that's going to be here, not just myself, but the other WWE superstars,
09:58are looking forward to performing in front of this crowd as well.
10:01Not everyone recognized him, though.
10:03Who are you?
10:04Who am I?
10:05Paul Colgan.
10:07The fans have been great.
10:08I mean, the people have been very polite and they're very excited to have us.
10:13And that's one great thing about when we get a chance to come to these countries that we don't really come to too often,
10:17is that the people are very excited to have us.
10:20And it just shows just how much of an honor it is for us to be in the WWE and get to come here.
10:26It's five o'clock and word was out that the superstars were staying at the Sheraton.
10:32This meant a big crowd of excited fans outside and quite a few had managed to get inside.
10:38Okay, we're here in the lobby of the hotel and there's a great big huge crowd gathering.
10:43So we're just going to talk to some of the people and see, you know, who the favorite stars are,
10:48who they're here to see, that kind of stuff.
10:49So who are we talking to? What's your name?
10:51Chris.
10:52Chris, okay. Chris, who are you here to see?
10:54I'm here to see Jeff Hardy.
10:56Okay, and do you like Jeff Hardy?
10:57Yeah.
10:58Why?
10:59Um, because I like all his cool stunts.
11:01What about you guys? Who are you here to see?
11:04Uh, Kane.
11:05Kane, why Kane?
11:07Because I like him.
11:08I'm here to see the game, Triple H.
11:10Why?
11:11Uh, because he's the most halfling superstar in Raw.
11:13Triple H!
11:14Jeff Hardy!
11:15I'm the leader.
11:16Rob Van Dam.
11:18RBD!
11:19RBD!
11:20RBD!
11:21RBD!
11:22RBD!
11:23RBD!
11:24RBD!
11:25There's no shortage of favorites when it comes to the fans, but if Rob Van Dam thought
11:29he could check out quietly, he has another thing coming.
11:32RBD!
11:33RBD!
11:34RBD!
11:35I appreciate the reception.
11:36It's been the first time in India, but you never know it, huh?
11:43You make me dizzy running circles in my head.
11:48One of these days I'll chase you down.
11:54But look who's going crazy now, I'm amazed to face my friend.
11:59Better got out, better got out, better got out.
12:06You know you make me break out.
12:09You make me break out.
12:13I don't want it like that.
12:16I don't want it like that, maybe make me break out.
12:22You make me break out.
12:24My life on the road is never boring. I like things. I love coming away with these trips because I used to travel all the time. I was nonstop traveling from the age of just turned 20 to 24. That's when I went to America.
12:40So when we get to do these tours now and everything's catered to us and five stars, it's great. Because it wasn't like that when I was doing it. When I came here to Delhi, it was the only stars you could see in the hotel with the hole in the roof kind of thing. It wasn't exactly. But I enjoyed it. I just got on with it. I've been real fortunate enough to be able to do that.
13:06I was in the New Delhi newspaper, some quotes. I was a WWE hunk. And extremely muscular with gargantuan proportions. It's official. Biggest load of old pony I've ever heard in my life. Unbelievable. Did you write that yourself? No, I absolutely wished I could. I wish I could say it with a straight face as well.
13:28So time for business. It's been less than 20 hours since the superstars arrived in India. And already they're gearing up for action.
13:42There's no time for tiredness. It's time to put on a show.
13:45For the fans, many of them weren't lucky enough to catch the first WWE tour to India. So this was definitely a night they'd been waiting years for. Excitement was high. And everyone had their favorite superstar.
14:02Wow! What? That's it.
14:05Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam.
14:08trophy.
14:09geometry.
14:11Rebellion.
14:13Meanwhile, inside the stadium, excitement was mounting.
14:19I'm kind of bewildered going into tonight's match in New Delhi, because I don't know what to expect from fans. I don't know what the arena's going to be like. I don't know what the ring is going to look like. I just, I can't wait to see what the Indian fans are like.
14:28Hey, we're in Delhi. We're backstage. Everyone's here. Booker T, Triple H.
14:33Is that thing on? Yes.
14:36They're all warming up. In fact, it's quite amusing to watch because everyone has his own, you know, little weird, interesting psych-up routine.
14:44You know, some of them are sort of jumping up and down, some are just walking. Very amusing.
14:49But we're just about to start. Let's take a look.
14:58Well, well, we welcome you today. Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a long time coming.
15:11But today, we are here. We are live with the superstar of the WWE.
15:28The show in the deli was in a stadium, so we probably ended up with about 20,000 people there.
15:56And it was a lot of fun. It just shows the strength of the WWE television and the fact that we can come to a country like India
16:03and walk to the curtain and people automatically react the way that you want them to be booing and, you know, chanting,
16:09Fozzie sucks at me and Jericho sucks and you're an a-hole and blah, blah, blah.
16:14It's just kind of funny just to think, man, the only reason these people are saying it is because they watch your TV, you know?
16:18I'm thinking we need a chance at this end to shut up!
16:25Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho!
16:32Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho! Jericho
17:02a great show now it's out of the stadium straight to the airport the wrestlers were weary but
17:18somehow everyone just kept going somewhere here we're looking for bags and it's the usual chaos
17:28this is a little bit different from the normal life on the road because usually we don't
17:45fly to the next town as soon as the show is done you know and like i said this whole trip it's hotel
17:51room show airport hotel room show airport and usually you at least get to stay overnight in the
17:57town we get a chance to kind of sample with the night life or just to relax a bit more
18:03so this is a little bit different from the norm
18:20right so we're here in Mumbai we got in last night and my god it was just chaos
18:25i mean a little bit of it what happened was uh we finished the concert why do i want to take
18:30concert it's not a concert we finished the match left the the stadium but um the fans actually
18:36started coming out as we were leaving so you got fans and two stars all in the one area not a good
18:42combination it was a bit of woohoo you don't want the pictures autographs all that kind of stuff anyway
18:46finally get everyone on the bus and we're talking about three busloads of people okay lots and lots of
18:51people get to the airport again you know a bit of chaos so many people bags charter flight and yeah
18:58people just napping on the dozing on the flight and trying to get just like hours sleep or whatever
19:04get into the hotel same sort of thing you know grab your bags everyone all over the place
19:08finally we get to our room a little bit of shut eye about i don't know three or four hours and back to work
19:15action behind me we've got um kane and rvd we're shooting a commercial it's directed by
19:31pahalat kakar and um and the commercial about pahalat kakar's son is beating up the two superstars
19:38ready camera
19:48okay good enough right pahalat can you tell us about the commercial itself well we've got the britannia
19:53kid versus kane and uh van dam and he wins i i saw that i saw i saw and that's your son isn't it that's
20:02my son yes unfortunately it's your son beating up these two big superheroes on the superstars they're
20:10big huge and they're being beaten up by a little kid well no not really he's just so cute that they
20:14allow him to beat them no we got schooled by some little uh six-year-old britannica kid he's he can
20:25move i mean i thought that i was pretty athletically gifted that this kid can go i've never seen anything
20:30like it he flips off the ropes he does all sorts of flippity stuff he's he's awesome
20:35who came up with the concept well uh there was asset and me and the the client we all sat down
20:44together and we worked out the script where since it was a double lick biscuit it's got cream on both
20:49sides so he should take on two guys and lick them both so when he says wanna lick they say no we've
20:55already been licked
21:01so what are the chances of your son getting into the wwe well i've offered them to him but i think
21:07they're a little worried about the fact that he might uh prematurely mature and beat the out of
21:12everybody you know and he's such a monster has destroyed my house has destroyed his school
21:16he's destroyed the school bus and next wwe and this is what all the fuss is about this is britannia's
21:22double treat biscuit pineapple and coconut at least that's what this one says um and it's got picture
21:28cane on the front right there come on you know the india tour has been challenging logistically
21:34um first of all it's the the sheer effort to get 40 people here on time with a hectic television
21:42schedule so it really meant leaving new york you know tuesday night after four days of television and
21:47house shows non-televised shows in the u.s then coming here on a plane via frankfurt getting off the
21:53plane at 2am in the morning having an event that night in delhi then flying from delhi that night
21:58here getting in at three o'clock in the morning having an event right here in bombay or mumbai
22:05and then leaving again at two o'clock to bangalore to have an event tomorrow night and then straight
22:10back back that night by frankfurt to jfk okay okay it's five shots we're just about to leave the hotel
22:16there's tons of fans around getting all the bags getting together light night and i'm getting really
22:22excited
22:33Well, after a great show in Delhi, the Anderi Sports Complex in Mumbai was the venue for
22:57the next show, and the sight of an outdoor arena seemed to catch a few superstars by
23:02surprise.
23:05Meanwhile inside the stadium, the fans were arriving, and excitement was mounted.
23:11We're talking to John, he's the man when it comes to production, now this is an outdoor
23:20stadium.
23:21Yes.
23:22So how is it, how is it good about this?
23:25Well, focusing lights was a real task today.
23:28When we weren't able to do it until probably about a half hour ago when the sun fell behind
23:31the buildings on that side of the stadium.
23:34What about sound?
23:35Sounds easy.
23:36They just pretty much stack it and hang it by the ring, and that's easy to do outdoors.
23:40It's a bit of a loss as it gets further back, but they've got some delay towers out on either
23:45side, which should cover the audience pretty well.
23:48They're going to be hearing us downtown somewhere.
23:49Cool.
23:50Right, we just found out something about a guerrilla position.
23:54No idea what it means, but here's the man who can help us, so what is this?
23:58The guerrilla position is when we do a live show, or any shows in the States, there's a
24:04position where guerrilla monsoon, he used to sit, and he used to organize the guys to come
24:11out.
24:12And when he died, it's a tribute to him, but that is the guerrilla position.
24:14Right.
24:15So what?
24:16That big?
24:17The stage entrance.
24:18Oh, cool.
24:19Okay.
24:20So you learn something new every day.
24:22So the stage set, everything ready, the fans are here, the superstars are here.
24:26It's time to put on this show.
24:27It's time to put on this show.
24:28Oh, wow.
24:29That's good.
24:30Oh, wow.
24:31That's good.
24:33Oh, wow.
24:35That's good.
24:36Oh, wow.
24:38Oh, wow.
24:39You've got to run with it, you've got to take it down
24:48You've got to say what you say to me
24:51Anybody want to do it, you're so good
24:55You need to say
24:57I need you
24:59Don't ever stand aside, don't ever be the last
25:03You won't be who you mean
25:06You're coming with me
25:07Don't ever stand aside, don't ever be the last
25:11Don't ever stand aside, don't ever stand aside
25:15Don't ever stand aside, don't ever stand aside
25:20Okay, we're sat talking to Chris Jericho before he goes on stage
25:24Yes
25:25Telling us about his band before Ian showed up with his camera
25:29Absolutely
25:30First of all, let's talk a little bit about the stadium that we're in
25:32How they built this stadium just for us
25:34Okay
25:35Just for the show
25:36He knows more about the stadium
25:37Yeah, I should just present the show and interview you to be honest with you
25:40I think you should and I should go up there and start wrestling the guys beat him up
25:44So we're pretty much outdoors, it's a wide open outdoor stadium, they got some lights up and kind of like this aluminum fence and then just a big open empty space with all the people in the ring right in the middle, so it's very cool
25:57We feel very special that they actually built an arena just for the WWE
26:02So we're very special
26:03That's really good, I'm so amazed
26:05Cool
26:06How many arenas have you had built for you?
26:07Huh?
26:08Huh?
26:09None
26:10Right
26:11Okay, fine, don't rub it in, okay?
26:12Oh
26:14No
26:15Home
26:16No
26:17Eh
26:19What week's up?
26:21Oh
26:25aby
26:26Make
26:29That
26:30Go!
26:31Go!
26:32Go!
26:33Go!
26:34Go!
26:35Go!
26:36Go!
26:37Go!
26:38Go!
26:39Go!
26:40Go!
26:41Backstage with D'Lo, who apparently is very quiet off camera, but...
26:45Oh, now why are you going to go talking like that?
26:47Come on now.
26:48But on camera...
26:49I'm like this 24-7, 365.
26:51I'm like this all the time.
26:53Come on.
26:54That's right.
26:55I was just trying to, you know...
26:57Get me, break me out of my shell.
26:58That's right.
26:59You know, I was just trying to get in there.
27:02Okay.
27:03Yeah, okay.
27:04Okay.
27:05Talking about the Azumari, it's been really tough on you guys, right?
27:08Yeah, it's been a grind.
27:09You know, basically get in to whatever town we're in at 3 in the morning, take a bus ride,
27:14sleep all day, try to find time to go to the gym, eat some food, then head to the new
27:18venue, and then do it all over again.
27:20So, it's 72 hours of hell, basically.
27:22But, it's all worthwhile when you get out there in front of 20,000 people and just go
27:26crazy.
27:27I mean, that's what makes it all worthwhile.
27:28Here's the hell!
27:29Here's the hell!
27:30Here's the hell!
27:31Here's the hell!
27:32Here's the hell!
27:33Here's the hell!
27:34Here's the hell!
27:35Here's the hell!
27:36Here's the hell!
27:37Damn, girl!
27:38What?
27:39What as hell?
27:40You know that?
27:41Okay.
27:42You better take it out.
27:43Oh, okay.
27:44I'm just letting you know.
27:45Thank you!
27:46Thank you!
27:47You got a man?
27:48You got a man?
27:49I can't tell you on camera.
27:51Well, you want one?
27:52Well, tell me about life on the road.
27:53What's it like?
27:54Um...
27:55Well, it's kind of funny.
27:56I've been doing this for 13 years, so you get used to it after a while.
27:58So that makes you 40?
27:59Uh, yeah.
28:00Actually, I'm 47 years old.
28:01I look pretty good for 47, don't I?
28:02So, um...
28:03But, you know, you get used to it after a while.
28:04You develop, like, a traveling callus, like I would say.
28:05You know, you kind of build up your wall.
28:06But, uh, it's tough.
28:07You know, it's tough being away from your family and tough being away from home.
28:11But, having said that, once you get, like, especially when you get the chance to come internationally,
28:27to England or Germany or India or wherever, it's great to come and get a chance to see
28:32what the other parts of the world are like.
28:34And that's kind of what it's all about.
28:35That's why I got into business, was to travel and to see the world.
28:38So, here it is.
28:39We get to see the world and you can see it behind us.
28:41Okay.
28:42This is the part where, uh, I say goodbye because I'm just about to board 9747 to accompany DLO
28:48back to, um...
28:49Where are we going?
28:50Well, we're, I mean, obviously we're going to Bangalore next.
28:53We're going to Bangalore.
28:54We're going to Bangalore next, but I'm on a plane there.
28:56We're going to Chicago after this.
28:57We're going to Chicago.
28:58And then I'm going to board the 747 to Chicago.
28:59We're going to New York and then Chicago.
29:01And that's it.
29:02I'm giving up my life, my career to be, um...
29:04Mrs. Brown.
29:05To be Mrs. Brown.
29:07Uh...
29:08Is that a song?
29:09Mrs. Brown?
29:10No, that's Mrs. Robinson.
29:11Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Robinson.
29:12Mrs. Robinson.
29:13Anyway...
29:14I'm sure there's like a Mrs. Brown song.
29:15So you're telling me you don't have a man?
29:16You just told me on camera you're leaving with me.
29:18I'm, I'm leaving with him.
29:20Yes.
29:21One thing that seems to be a constant is my international dislike for me.
29:33As I was told by a fan on the phone the other day, as I did a phone interview with some fans
29:37at a TV station the other day, and he was told that nobody likes me here.
29:41I'm beginning to think it's true because I tried to go out the first night and be a nice guy.
29:46I know this won't air, but they, people of India called me a ****.
29:50Very loudly they chanted it.
29:52These are very polite people that, um, aren't supposed to speak a bad word, but yet here they
29:57are calling me that.
29:59I didn't say anything bad about them.
30:02Well, after that great night in Mumbai, straight back to the airport for the flight to Bangalore.
30:08Booker T and William Regal looked a bit like they're feeling the pace, but inside Rico was still playing to the crown.
30:23That's 250 American dollars.
30:25That's a heck of some chocolate.
30:27And after checking in, it looked like he'd spotted a way of making a bit more cash.
30:32Can you take a picture?
30:34All right.
30:35I'm gonna charge you five dollars.
30:41Five dollars.
30:42No, sir.
30:43For the picture?
30:44No, no.
30:45I gave you discount.
30:46I gave you discount.
30:47250 a picture.
30:50Meanwhile, for the production crew and the superstars, the way to the airport departure lounge was a welcome bit of downtime.
30:57Right.
30:58Anywhere I find myself, on my own with no one else, listening to the same old song, all night long.
31:12Any time I find myself, wrestling with my mental health, about this or that or something else, right or wrong.
31:25I think you have to be a little crazy like to be a wrestler anyway in the first place.
31:32Because there's a little bit of craziness in each wrestler, but it's a good kind of crazy.
31:37Most of the time, it's fairly good.
31:40I know.
31:41I seem to get on with 90% of people.
31:46Some, obviously, you're never gonna get on with everybody you work with.
31:52Some people I don't.
31:54And that's fine.
31:56But most of the time, it's good.
31:58We're like a big family.
32:00You know, it's like our family away from our families.
32:03And we have to, you know, we do things to make each other laugh and pass the time.
32:08And some guys, you know, joke around with each other, pull pranks, things like that.
32:13We just have a fun time and make the best of it.
32:16And we always make sure we have a good time wherever we go.
32:20We here, dawg.
32:22We all up in this mud.
32:24Bangalore.
32:25Now can you dig that?
32:27Sucker!
32:28And here we are in Bangalore, the third and final city on the Raw Tour.
32:36Time to check in for the last time amongst the now customary smiling hotel staff.
32:41And it seems no matter how tired or weary the superstars are, there's always time for a photo.
32:52People that put the tour together are unbelievable.
32:54You know, especially the international tours.
32:56You come to have everything set up, you know, you don't have to worry about checking in.
32:59You get there and you're tired, you're carrying your bags in the hotel,
33:02and they come to hand you your keys, your itinerary, and point you to where the food is,
33:06point you to where your room is.
33:07And that's the best part.
33:09You know, they're the real saviors of these things.
33:14Bangalore, a city with a rich culture and heritage,
33:17and a favorite destination from the many travelers who visit India.
33:26But for the WWE superstars, unfortunately, there's little time to enjoy the sights.
33:31And when they do, there's always security present.
33:34Most people think that you've got to be big and tough and probably stupid, actually.
33:41Because most people think that doormen are security like the tour and doormen are totally different.
33:46They're dealing with drunk people and they've got to be aggressive.
33:49We're dealing with a different thing.
33:50We're dealing with health and safety.
33:52We're dealing with people.
33:53So it's a lot different.
33:55We're there to help people, not to cause a scene or actually hurt anyone.
34:00So that's part of it.
34:02You know, today's been such a relaxing day.
34:04Really chill.com, do whatever you want.
34:06But we keep forgetting about these guys who are working behind the scenes,
34:10getting all this stuff together.
34:11I know for a fact that Davey's been out on the ground since about 8 o'clock this morning.
34:16It's an outdoor show again in Bangalore, this time in the Palace Grounds.
34:21And it's a race to get everything ready,
34:24with local organisers working with the expert international crew
34:27to make sure everything is just right for a great night.
34:31The ring has been set up now, as you can see.
34:32This ring comes via Helsinki and then it came to the UK.
34:33It got shipped to India.
34:34This ring now goes on to Helsinki and then it came to the UK.
34:41It got shipped to India.
34:43This ring now goes on to Helsinki and then it came to the UK.
34:46And while Davey was putting the finishing touches to the ring, preparations were underway elsewhere.
34:51Fire and explosions were an established part of the WWF team.
34:54Fire and explosions were an established part of the WWF team.
34:57It's been set up now as you can see.
34:58This ring came via Helsinki and then it came to the UK.
35:00It got shipped to India.
35:01This ring now goes on to South Africa and it continues on the cycle around the world.
35:06And while Davey was putting the finishing touches to the ring, preparations were underway elsewhere.
35:18Fire and explosions were an established part of the WWE experience.
35:21But up to now, there had been a few problems.
35:24But finally the fireworks had arrived and it was all systems go.
35:29Well, right now I'm running the wires for Cane's pilot.
35:37So, I'm double-wiring and getting ready.
35:41Putting all the clips all over the boards, getting ready for the opening.
35:49Everything has to be tested so nothing goes wrong on the night.
35:52And most of the time it doesn't.
35:54One, two, three, two, one.
35:58Most of the time.
35:59That sucks!
36:08Meanwhile, back at the hotel, the media frenzy had started again as the tour's promotional wheels start turning once more.
36:14This time it's the turn of Bubba Ray Dudley and Hurricane to meet the press, answer questions and of course, meet the fans.
36:24If I can help you!
36:28ok
36:32Å›
36:35Å›
36:37Å›
36:41Å›
36:43Å›
36:48gear
36:49Å›
36:52While Bubba and Hurricane were pleasing the fans, it was Ivory's turn to head into the city.
37:05Bangalore's favourite music store played host to the press and gave the fans another chance to meet one of their favourite superstars.
37:22That's nice, thank you.
37:43Okay, it's 5.30, time to leave for the venue. Buses are here, bags are packed, you need to get the bags in there and the butts in there.
37:51We have some Cals fans where we do the last and final show.
37:58It's been a whirlwind tour, three cities in three days, but for the superstars, it seems like a walk in the park.
38:12Another bus ride and before you know it, we're at the stadium.
38:16Time to unload the bags and head inside for the final show.
38:21Yeah, what up? Yeah, hey up, last night. Bangalore. We've been to kick it off. OGB style, dawg.
38:36Right, exactly what he said.
38:41Inside and thankfully everything is going to plan.
38:45The fans are arriving, a few of the superstars take the chance for a quick peek outside before the show.
38:51I'm looking forward to being an outdoor show, because last night was an outdoor show.
38:58I've always loved outdoor shows, especially like when the breeze is in the air and you can just, you know, I can feel my hair being blown by the wind.
39:07It's kind of strange, but I love outdoor shows, especially on Indy. I mean, it's great that we are outdoors.
39:12We are outdoors. Ladies and gentlemen, here we go!
39:42The fans play every, you know, it all revolves around the fans.
39:55Nothing makes the pain go away faster than a loud crowd.
39:59I love it when the crowd reacts, whether they're booing or cheering. If they're reacting, they're having a good time. That's what they'll know.
40:07Hardest thing to do would be to go out there and have a 40-minute match and really take a beating with nobody reacting to it.
40:22That's what we live for as performers, which is for the reaction of those fans.
40:25Okay, we're talking now to Booker T, who's been doing some really impressive...
40:32Stretches.
40:33Stretches.
40:34Getting ready, you know, for the match.
40:36Getting ready for the match.
40:38It's our third day. Well, it's the third match.
40:40Yeah.
40:41It's the final one here in Bangalore. And what do you feel?
40:45Actually, it's amazing because I feel probably better today than I did the first day, you know, and I've only had maybe four hours of sleep.
40:52And I played golf today and I came in and got a power nap and I'm ready to go, actually.
40:58I feel like I'm going to go out here and crank it up tonight.
41:01What's the crowd been like?
41:03For myself, it's really been good because, you know, to go around the world and see, you know, other cultures, you know,
41:11carrying the Booker T signs and doing the Booker T check and the sucker thing, you know.
41:14A lot of them don't really know what sucker means.
41:18Can't even speak English sometimes, but they formulate, can you dig a sucker, you know.
41:23So, that's a little bit of something as far as they like what I'm doing.
41:30So, that's a good thing.
41:31Boy, you Indian people are stupid.
41:50I liked it a lot better when the British were in charge.
41:54I want to ask you what you think of India, but I'm afraid that you're going to say something controversial again.
42:05No.
42:06So, I'm going to ask you, Gingerly, what do you think of India?
42:07Well, you know, it was always great to study the stone age of college, but I never thought I could see it with my own eyes.
42:12Oh!
42:13Oh!
42:14Right!
42:15Okay, that, that ends this issue.
42:17Goodbye!
42:19Goodbye!
42:23My god, he's nasty!
42:24Guess what?
42:25I've just been talking to the ring announcer, Howard Finkel, and he just told me that I can get them just funny!
42:45Cool!
42:47I'm so excited, and I'm so nervous.
42:50And all girls say I'm pretty fly for a white guy.
42:57Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, cinco, seis.
43:00My entrance is like one of my, the biggest thing to me as far as like, if I have a good entrance, then I'm going to have a good night.
43:08My god, you may not have fun, but nothing, I'm trying to let you make the bitch alive!
43:14Adrenaline rushes are amazing from the fans when you get, they can like make you do some very unnatural things.
43:19And all my friends, the man is a big fan.
43:20It's been done.
43:21They're all about it, folks.
43:22The team can really play on national brains.
43:23I've got a plan I feel
43:24Keep it real
43:25You know where it's being
43:26But you know where you're coming
43:27And I'm free
43:28But don't compensate
43:29At least you know
43:30You can always go on a delay
43:33Someone needs what I need
43:36So I'll fight
43:38To the front and down
43:39Okay, I don't know about you guys, but that is definitely the highlight of my broad school
43:50of video.
43:51That was just as cool as well.
43:53Now, unfortunately, everything's coming to an end, because right after this show, the
43:57guys are going to jump on a plane and go back to the States.
44:02But I'm so thankful for being part of this, for being behind the scenes, making friends
44:09with you guys.
44:10It's been so much fun.
44:11I want to say thanks to all the fans who came to the shows here in Bangalore, in Mumbai,
44:15and Delhi.
44:16I hope you had a good time.
44:17And if you couldn't make to the shows, I'm sure, or I hope, that you had a good time watching
44:23this behind the scenes.
44:24Now, I'm going to go away.
44:25Take care, and keep watching Laura.
44:39I wish you could swim like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim.
45:00I wish you could swim like the dolphins, like the dolphins can swim like the dolphins, like
45:09the turtles can swim like the dolphins, like the dolphins, like the dolphins.
45:13Yeah.
45:14Forever and ever
45:17We can be heroes
45:22Just one day
45:26We can be heroes
45:31Just one day
45:35We can be heroes
45:46We can be heroes
45:54We can be heroes
46:03We can be heroes
