00:00In the meantime, new regulations for online gambling is being eyed by the government to limit the access to the platform.

00:07According to Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, Secretary Frederick Goh,

00:12the administration could introduce higher minimum bets and an entry levy.

00:16Secretary Goh said these regulations can help dissuade bettors from taking unnecessary risks with their hard-earned money.

00:23To remember, several lawmakers urged President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. to strengthen the policies against online gambling.
