00:00There's one old-school beauty product that is so nostalgic for me, but I honestly forgot about it
00:05until I did that video about Pond's cold cream, and this came up repeatedly in the comments. What
00:12is it? None other than the original Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid. It even still comes in the baby
00:19pink bottle. My mama, y'all, she stayed putting this on her face. She would always do cheeks,
00:24chin, forehead, and then gently rub it in, because that's the way her great-ant Jewel,
00:29who she spent a lot of time with when she was growing up. That's what she did. So for her,
00:34this smell is iconic. For me, it reminds me of my mom. The way this stuff goes on, y'all,
00:39it's so thin and light. Sometimes I think we jump too far on these skincare trends, and really we
00:45should be going back to what worked for our mamas, what worked for our grandmothers. And Oil of Olay
00:49has worked for so many years, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I might be adding this back into my
00:54skincare routine, thanks to my mama, but really, thanks to her great-ant Jewel. Do y'all still use
00:58a little bit of a light.
