00:00Accessible through the main menu, the Rippatorium will give players a new way to rip and tear through the demonic horde.
00:10We are giving you the controls to create your own encounter, allowing players to take on the role of lead combat designer inside of Doom the Dark Ages.
00:20Just pick the arena, the music track, the demon type you want to fight and how many per wave, the number of waves, set the difficulty and the time limit, then just press start and have fun.
00:39You can refine the experience after the match to whatever feels good to you.
00:45The end game is simple. You are the super weapon. Kill them all before the timer runs out.
00:53We'd like to expand on the Rippatorium more in future updates, so stay tuned for more info in the months ahead.
01:04We've also made several refinements to the combat in Dark Ages. Too many to list. Check the release notes for everything, but here's some noteworthy improvements.
01:12We increased the weapon swap speed for every gun, which feels awesome.
01:20We can also now interrupt any weapon swap animation to block incoming attacks, and also block more quickly after shield bash.
01:28And probably most important of all, we added a slow-mo adjustment slider to the game.
01:36Every melee and shield animation impact can be adjusted now to whatever feels right for you.
01:43On the audio front, we've rebalanced the music in every large encounter to align with the combat just a little bit better.
01:52We also made some additional updates to improve the flow of the dragon and Atlan experience.
02:00Along with some weapon balance tweaks for the Slayer.
02:02And lastly, we refined several heavy encounters in Acts 2 and 3 of the game, increasing the depth and engagement in these combat spaces.
02:12So those are some of the highlights.
02:14There is a ton more, so check the Slayer's Club for more details about all the work put into this amazing update.
