00:41¡Change the hearts you know are wrong!
00:45¡Ahhh!
00:47I know it's been 22 years since Freaky Friday's been a global hit at the box office.
00:52I didn't know if I would see this day, but I'm sure happy that I did.
00:57I wondered if I would ever get to make another Freaky Friday because wherever I went in the world,
01:03people would talk to me about it.
01:04That's just a, it's just a given.
01:05And my joke always was, well, we have to wait until Lindsay's old enough to have a 15-year-old child and then we can make a sequel.
01:15And then we figured out that she was a 15-year-old child and so here we are.
01:21I truly never thought that I would see the day that we would do a sequel to Freaky Friday.
01:27I never believed in my heart of hearts, not because the movie wasn't good, the movie was great,
01:31but I just felt like we had tied it up in a nice tight little bow and I didn't see the possibility of them making the same mistake twice.
01:40I was, I was a fan of the original film.
01:43Um, when I heard that I could even just have a meeting with the director, I was ecstatic.
01:48Um, not only because it's Freaky Friday, but it's also because of Nisha Gunatra, our director.
01:55I'm a huge fan of her work and her movies.
01:57It's time we convinced everyone that we were each other until we switched back.
02:01I didn't want to be a part of this family and now I'm part of some dodgy family curse.
02:06Um, slipping back into the role of Anna felt very comfortable for me because I've also aged with Anna as the character,
02:13so it was easy for me to relate to who she is today, especially being a mom.
02:17So it came, it came more naturally than I expected.
02:20I always hoped if we did a sequel that I would be able to just, it would be a little bit like muscle memory.
02:27You know what I mean?
02:27Like I would be able to slip back into Tess.
02:29But I didn't know that really who I was going to end up switching with was a 15-year-old English girl, uh, you know, fish out of water kind of beauty influencer kind of girl.
02:44That part of it was a little more complicated for me.
02:47We had to, it was a little more of a subtle shift.
02:50Pretending to be Lily was more subtle and certainly challenging.
03:01Nice car.
03:02It's totally mine.
03:03She thinks you're cute.
03:04I do not.
03:05Yes, she does.
03:05I do.
03:06She so does.
03:07Dr. Coleman?
03:08Oh my God, it's cool.
03:09This is a true story.
03:36It's one of those movies that turned out way better than I thought and I knew it was going to be good.
03:43But when you see something that just has, with sound design, with camera movement, with character work, with storyline, with the bleeding over, you know, the intersecting storylines between each character, all that kind of stuff.
03:58It's like there's every reason for it not to work and then you have somebody like Zach that comes along.
04:05He's just an elevated filmmaker and I don't know that at the time and then you see the movie and you go, wow.
04:13So thank God this guy exists and I can't wait to see what he does next.
04:16We have a lot of emotional parents here.
04:18I think it's best if you keep some distance from this place.
04:22How wild it is and how they didn't know where it was going and I think they're just going to be talking about it because there's never been anything like it.
04:35La oferta para este fin de semana en los cines estará jugosa.
