00:23It's a fascinating, proud time, and already the ring is filled with members of the Raw Women's Division for a very special event tonight.

00:37Make it well done.

00:40Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new Raw Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss.

00:53And Courtney, they've been waiting for this all day long, the so-called coronation.

01:01What do you mean today? I've been excited about it since I found out about it. Alexa Bliss, the new face of the Raw Women's Division. This is a great reason to celebrate.

01:09I'll show you why Alexa is the new champ.

01:12I love it when you can call your shots.

01:14Last night at the Raw exclusive pay-per-view event known as Payback, Bailey in her hometown of San Jose, California.

01:22A raucous crowd in support of Bailey, who is so excited to defend her championship in front of her family and friends in her hometown.

01:30And Bailey wasted a little time going right after Alexa Bliss. But we want to show you right now the moment where this match turned Corey for Alexa Bliss.

01:40Bailey would have the upper hand at the moment.

01:44An attempt to pin Alexa Bliss, who in the process of kicking out, watch this right here, would launch Bailey into the steel ring post, neck and shoulder first.

01:53allowing Alexa to deliver a savage DDT and capture the Raw Women's Championship.

02:00Disappointment for Bailey, but elation for Alexa Bliss.

02:16You know, ladies, I want to thank you all for being out here tonight.

02:21Um, I know some of you are only out here because I told Kurt Angle to make you come out here, but, uh, I do appreciate the attendance.

02:28And, uh, I know we have a tag match later, so I'll, I'll make this really quick.

02:34So, you know, a lot of, a lot of superstars come out here and they refer to themselves as Queen.

02:42Yeah, well, I'm here to make something perfectly clear. The Queen is dead.

02:47And for the first time ever in Monday Night Raw history, I can rightfully say, long live Alexa Bliss.

02:58The one, the only goddess of WWE.

03:04You know, last night I became the first ever woman to hold the SmackDown Women's title and the Raw Women's title.

03:15And the referee just holds my hand up and hands me the title like I'm some other champion.

03:21Um, hello, goddess. Yeah, I deserve a coronation.

03:31And it wouldn't be a proper coronation if I didn't have my friends of the women's division here with me.

03:37I do want to thank you all for being here, but, um, I do have some people I want to personally thank.

03:46Like, Mickie James.

03:51Mickie, I've watched you since I was a little girl growing up.

03:55You are so inspirational and just so great.

04:00And I, I know that.

04:02And that's, that's why I brought you back to SmackDown Live.

04:07And now we're both on Raw and even though your contemporaries, May Young and the fabulous Moolah, are now in a better place.

06:46kind of shocked last night when I looked in the front row I thought it was just your dad's gonna

06:50be here but no your your whole family was here and they were all in the front row and they were

06:56adorable Bailey they had the little Bailey shirts on some of them had side ponytails they were all

07:02being your little inflatable friend thingies it was it was it was adorable but there was this one

07:09moment that that really got to me you know you you didn't see it but when the referee raised my hand

07:16and I beat you for the title I looked in the front row at your family and and they were all upset but

07:25I saw your nephews and and they were crying between you and me they were they were they were bawling

07:32their eyes out but it was this moment that that that almost that almost took away from my moment my my

07:39history-making moment it almost threw me off thank goodness I didn't let that happen but I thought to

07:45myself what would Bailey do Bailey looks at the positives turn that frown upside down so Bailey looking at the

07:53positives now I realize now your whole family even your nephews finally have a real role model to look

09:01the new women's champion Alexa Bliss teaming with Alicia Fox, Nia Jackson, Emma against the former champion Bailey, Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Dana Brooke.

09:11And obviously, guys, Alexa wants nothing to do with Bayley in the early going of this matchup.

09:16Why would Alexa want anything to do with Bayley?

09:18Alexa beat Bayley last night at Payback, became the Raw Women's Champion,

09:22and the first ever and only goddess of WWE.

09:26I agree with you on that story, but I'll tell you what, Alexa Bliss may have to be in this match,

09:31but she's got a hell of a backup on her team.

09:33And Eba now going to work on Bayley.

09:36Luckily, it was members of the other team that Alexa Bliss dissed to kick off Monday Night Raw tonight.

09:46Notice how she talked to Nia Jax, calling her a great, naturally gifted athlete.

09:52Disagreeing?

09:54But what an emotional 24 hours it had to be for Bayley, her hometown of San Jose last night,

09:59losing her championship in front of her family and friends to Alexa.

10:02Then to come out here tonight and have it rubbed in her face by the new champion.

10:06Speaking of champions, one of the all-time great women's champions,

10:10Mickie James, into the ring.

10:12You want to work on Emma.

10:13Very kind of Alexa Bliss to acknowledge everything that Mickie James has accomplished in the women's division.

10:19I thank her for her contribution.

10:20I believe that she compared Mickie to her, quote,

10:23contemporaries of Mae Young and fabulous Moolah.

10:27And Mickie James, a couple of kick-ups there,

10:30and there's a kick right to the midsection of Emma.

10:32And Booker, you've had a chance to cover much of Mickie James' career.

10:36She's a good one.

10:37I mean, you look at Mickie James, she's been all over the world,

10:39and now she's thanking WWE, looking to make a point and win one more championship,

10:44just one more.

10:46And here's Dana Brooke, which is an interesting matchup here with Emma, Corey,

10:50who tags now Alicia Fox into the matchup.

10:53Long story, history, dating all the way back to NXT between Dana Brooke and Emma.

10:57Emma basically taught Dana Brooke everything that she knows.

11:00Now Alicia Fox finds herself in the middle of it.

11:02Her and Dana were once friends until Emma got involved.

11:56To lose your Raw Women's Championship, you need to get right back on the horse somehow,

12:02Cole, we're talking about how much pressure it is, you know, going out there and performing in your own hometown.

12:06Bailey had an abundance of pressure on her last night.

12:09And I tell you, she did a hell of a job.

12:11Just couldn't pull it up.

12:12Yeah, Bailey is nothing to be ashamed of.

12:14She was a great champion.

12:15As we mentioned last night, she defended her title successfully at WrestleMania.

12:19Not many people can say that.

12:24Alicia Fox, of course, who was brought into SmackDown Live by Alexa Bliss.

12:33And then at a falling out with her as Alexa seems to have a falling out with everybody.

12:43And you can see the Raw Women's Champion, the goddess of WWE, looking on.

12:47In the back of Alexa's mind, she has to know that every woman involved in this match is looking at her championship.

12:54Here is a big target on the back of Alexa Bliss.

12:56I mean, you've got to have a number one, number two, as well as a number three contender for that championship in the ring with her right now at this time.

13:02Yeah, and three of her contenders could be on her team tonight.

13:13You hear Bliss screaming at Alicia Fox.

13:16Alexa Bliss would not like her coronation to be ruined tonight by a loss in this tag team match.

13:25Despite her ego and cockiness, there's no doubt that Alexa Bliss, one of the great stars here on Monday Night Raw.

13:34We've got a great deal with her coming over from the superstar shakeup.

13:41That was getting stiff around here in the WWE and the women's division, man.

13:50As you heard Alicia Fox screaming back at Alexa, I'm trying to get that way to make a tag.

13:55Sasha Banks and her teammates have done a great job of cutting the ring in half, keeping Alicia Fox away from her own corner.

14:02And Fox hangs on momentarily, and that slight hesitation costs Sasha as she's dumped out of the ring.

14:07And now, trouble.

14:58I've just noticed that Alexa Bliss is definitely keeping herself out of harm's way and close to Nia Jax.

15:13It was a great player.

15:15Nia dropping the elbow to the small, the back of Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss, a lot of nice things to say about Nia at the start of the program tonight.

20:18God, that was Alexa Bliss doing exactly where the referee was.

20:24And indeed, it was quite the night last night in San Jose.

20:26The Raw exclusive pay-per-view event, known as Payback, where Alexa Bliss won the Raw Women's Championship.

20:32It was also the scene of one of the most halacious and physical match-ups that we have ever witnessed here in WWE.

20:40The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman, versus the big dog, Roman Reigns.

20:44And Corey, Braun Strowman was able to take advantage of an injured Roman Reigns to put him away.

20:49Roman Reigns fought with everything he had inside of him, even at less than 100%.

20:53It was back and forth one of the most brutal encounters I could ever remember seeing.

20:56I want to take you back now to what happened after the pay-per-view went off the air.

21:00This was live only on the WWE Network.

21:03An incident backstage as Reigns was heading to the ambulance.
