00:00After last season, what was your kind of your thought process?
00:03Obviously, you didn't come out with a mirrorball trophy, but you made it pretty far.
00:06Yes.
00:07What was that experience like for you?
00:08Honestly, coming out of last season, I just felt so proud of what me and Steven created
00:13and what we did.
00:15It was honestly such a good season, and Steven was just such an amazing partner.
00:19We had so much fun together, and I'm just so grateful for all that panned out
00:23and all that we accomplished because to make it to the very end
00:27takes a lot of work and dedication and time.
00:30We really put it all in, and I'm just so proud of this.
00:32Yeah, so proud.
00:32It seems like the two of you had a really great friendship, too, that you've sustained.
00:36Is that true?
00:37Yes.
00:37He's awesome.
00:38We went on tour together, and he's just such a good friend to me.
00:41Tess, his girlfriend, I love her so much.
00:44Even me and Walker and them have gone on a couple double dates, and that's been really fun.
00:49But they're just such a great couple, and he's such a great person.
00:52He's just so happy, and I feel like we just give off the same vibe.
00:55We really just work together when we hang out.
00:57Definitely.
00:57I know that the new season is a few weeks away.
00:59I know that we haven't announced pros yet, but I know that you are a fan favorite.
01:02We're going to come back.
01:04I hope so.
01:05I'm sure.
01:05But I know that we've announced a few contestants so far.
01:08Yes.
01:09Initial reaction.
01:10I know that you kind of manifested Robert to be on the show.
01:13Yes.
01:13So what was your reaction when you found out that he was going to be on?
01:15Honestly, so glad, because I remember when I was younger, I saw him at a taping when Bindi
01:20was on the show, and I was like, he would be awesome on the show when he's older, and so
01:25I think it's so awesome.
01:26I think he's going to do so great, and honestly, the cast that they have so far is so great.
01:32Alex Earl.
01:33Like, come on.
01:34I'm such a fan of hers, and I have watched her content for so long.
01:37So I'm so excited to see her as a dancer.
01:39I feel like she's going to be really good.
01:41And then, obviously, we've got Jen and Whitney, and they're from Utah, which is super cool,
01:45and I'm excited to see them on, because I know they have some dance experience as well.
01:48Right.
01:49So I feel like they'll both be really good.
01:50Yeah.
01:50I mean, what are your thoughts of having the TikTok dance experience?
01:54Do you feel like it gives them a leg up?
01:55Have you studied their moves?
01:57Oh, for sure.
01:58Yeah.
01:58TikTok dancing does help.
02:00It definitely, like, if you can watch someone do a TikTok dance, and they just have simple rhythm,
02:05then Dancing with the Stars is probably going to go pretty well for them.
02:08Yeah.
02:08Definitely.
02:09What is it about Utah?
02:10I feel like so many dancers come out of Utah, and, like, now we have two more coming on the
02:14show for the More Women Wives.
02:15Yeah.
02:15What's kind of your thoughts on that?
02:17I mean, I just feel like there's just really good training in Utah.
02:20We were blessed with some really good teachers, and it's cross-training.
02:24So there's really good training for all sorts of styles outside of ballroom, and then plus
02:30a really good teacher that teaches us, like, that Latin ballroom style.
02:35So the dancers that come from Utah were just well-versed and well-rounded, and we know
02:39all the styles, and that just kind of sets you apart from other people as well.
02:43So I just think it's a really good place to kind of grow up in and to, like, learn how
02:49to dance.
02:49Yeah.
02:50Like, that's why so many people have come from Utah.
02:52Sure.
02:52Yeah.
02:52And I feel like this is the first season that two co-stars from the same show, or not co-stars,
02:57but two friends from the same show are there competing against one another.
03:00Do you think that's going to be fun to see?
03:02Yeah.
03:02I think that'll be really fun.
03:03And I'm very excited to see the two of them together, and to see them compete against
03:07each other.
03:08I wonder what it's going to be like.
03:09Yeah.
03:09Have you put your name in the ring for Robert, though, since, like, you've wanted to have
03:13him as a partner?
03:14I mean, I would love to have him as a partner.
03:16I think that would be so fun.
03:18And I have no idea what's going to happen.
03:19Of course.
03:19And I'd honestly be okay with anyone that just wants to be there.
03:23Sure.
03:23And wants to just learn and is excited about the whole process, because that's all you
03:29can have for it.
03:29Sure.
03:29Yeah.
03:30I know that this is, if you are to come back this season, it'll be your third season under
03:33your belt.
03:34Uh-huh.
03:34Does it make it a little bit easier kind of going into it, or is it still the same butterflies
03:38and things like that?
03:39Or do you feel like, okay, I have this kind of under my belt a little bit?
03:41Yeah.
03:42It's still kind of the same butterflies, just because it is nerve-wracking.
03:45Sure.
03:45You're putting your work on TV in front of everyone to see.
03:48Uh-huh.
03:49So there is definitely some nerves to it.
03:51But honestly, I'm so excited.
03:53I feel like I've experienced so much in my first and second season that I just, like,
03:58I know now.
03:59I know what to expect.
04:00I feel like there's still so much that I need to learn now.
04:02Sure, yeah.
04:02But I am excited, and I feel like I know a lot more than I did.
