00:15Well, I want to thank Chair Collins and all of our colleagues for the work that went into making this markup possible.
00:21Our work here continues to show there is a real bipartisan path for us to write and pass our government funding bills.
00:28And when we go that route, we can come together to reject devastating cuts that hurt our communities
00:34and invest in programs that do make a difference for folks back home.
00:38Our work is not done.
00:40I look forward to marking out more bills, including the energy and water bill soon.
00:44And as I have said and we are talking about, the path ahead is not easy,
00:48especially with Russ Vogt trying to push us further into partisan corners.
00:53But it is possible to get this done.
00:55We need to keep our eye on the ball and it's clear to me that it's worthwhile to do so.
