00:00This is a really important quote. It says,
00:02Never desire the success of another person without first finding out what they gave up for it.
00:10I think that's so important because in today's world, we see everyone's highlights,
00:14but we don't always see what they sacrifice for it.
00:17And so some examples, like when we see someone with a really great marriage,
00:21they usually have to sacrifice a lot of things in order to have that great marriage.
00:26Or if we see someone who has a really successful business and maybe they're wealthy because of it,
00:32they've had to give up a ton of things, a lot of their free time,
00:36maybe even time spent with family and friends.
00:38So there's always a sacrifice for everything.
00:42And so I think it can be helpful when we look at other people and maybe compare ourselves to them
00:47to think about like, what did they give up to get there?
00:51And we can really ask ourselves, is that worth it to us?
00:54And so I just think it's fascinating.
