The Dubai Metro is fully automated metro rail network in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Red Line was the first line to open in 2009 and it runs from Rashidiya to UAE Exchange, Jebel Ali. It spans 52.1 kilometers and includes 29 stations, serving key areas such as Dubai International Airport, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mal, and Dubai Marina.

The Green Line opened later in 2011 and it connects Etisalat to Creek. This line is 22.5 kilometers long with 20 stations, serving areas like Deira, Dubai Healthcare City and Dubai Creek.

The Dubai Metro uses a fleet of driverless trains, which are operated and monitored remotely from a control center. The trains are equipped with advanced safety systems and amenities for passenger comfort.

Trains on the Dubai Metro run at regular intervals, with peak-hour frequencies ranging from every 3-4 minutes and to every 8-10 minutes during off-peak times.
