00:00Express of Star.com, we're here at the CAF in Bushbury with Rebecca, sisters Rebecca and Danny Bloomer.
00:11And the father, Craig, unfortunately passed away on a family holiday in Corfu in recent weeks.
00:18Rebecca, tell us a little bit about your father. He established this CAF over 11 years ago.
00:26And the community's really rallied round, haven't they, in his death?
00:29It's been great, it's been great, yeah. Dad was just a character, everybody loved him.
00:34He was just always here, there and everywhere, going for a drink at the pub, rallying around the shops.
00:39Talk to anyone.
00:40Yeah, talk to anybody, it was just great.
00:42Yeah, and it was on a family holiday, wasn't it, when he had a motorcycle accident.
00:48I believe he's on his way back now, so you can at least plan for the funeral,
00:53but there's associated costs with the hospital in Corfu.
00:59And you're looking to raise about £3,500.
01:02And the community's already rallied round, haven't they? I think it's over £2,000.
01:08Yeah, they've been great, they've been great support.
01:10Yeah. Just tell us a little bit about how you feel about the accident and the death.
01:18It's a little bit overwhelming, it's very, very surreal.
01:23I keep saying to people, when I think back to that night, it's like I've watched a TV show.
01:27It just hasn't sunk in yet, I thought, it's just not right.
01:33But at least you'll have that comfort of him bringing his body back to the UK.
01:38And this is a beautiful cafe you've got.
01:41And you were telling me that he did all the work for the tables and everything.
01:47Yeah, he met them all of himself out of scaffolding poles.
01:51Yeah, all the tables.
01:52Yeah, because that was his former profession, wasn't it, as a carpenter.
01:56So he'd be proud of you carrying the family legacy on.
02:01I hope so, yeah.
02:03So what do you want to say to everyone who's donated and rallied round in the wake of his death?
02:09Just thank you for the love and support.
02:11It's very overwhelming and every little helps.
