00:00Curtain Call, much the best. Curtain Call wins in devastating fashions.
00:14We bought Curtain Call at the OBS March sale from SGV Thoroughbreds.
00:20And we thought we got him at a fair price, but he was a super individual, very well balanced.
00:26I think if he would have been in April, he would have cost a lot more money.
00:30A couple of days after Mark Cassie worked him on the farm, he sent me a picture of a Ferrari, but he called it a Porsche.
00:38So we got that kind of mixed up and they obviously, Coolmore ran a big ad and I shot it to Mark.
00:44But it was a Porsche. I mean, he really wowed Mark Cassie in his first work back.
00:50And it was only a couple of weeks after that March sale. So overall, we were very excited.
00:54He first started Churchill Downs. I thought he ran really well, got beat by a very good horse.
01:00We were expecting big things from his first start up here at Saratoga.
01:05When we walked out of the paddock, I was very bullish. I said, they're going to have a tough time containing this colt.
01:11And when I saw Jose, like at the half mile pole, he was just sitting really chilly.
01:16And they went into the far turn and he was just really moving so well and so effortlessly.
01:22And you know that when you win by 10 and you do it that easily and that powerfully and that fast, you have a shot to have something special.
01:30Curtain call, much the best. Curtain call wins in devastating fashion.
01:38He's all set to really get back to work and we will be waiting really with bated breath to get to the hopeful.
01:48I know it's still a month away, but we are over the moon excited with a beautiful and talented colt like Curtain call.
01:55We've always liked a tis the law. I think back to the day he broke his maiden up here, he was very impressive.
02:02And when we got to the sales, we automatically after the breezes, there were a whole group of them that we zeroed in on.
02:09At the April sale, we zeroed in on another tis the law out of the same SGV thoroughbred consignment.
02:16And he was the sail topper. We bought him in partnership with St. Elias and the spendthrift team.
02:24So then we bought a filly at that same sale that we really like.
02:28And we sent her to Mark Cassie. She's coming along.
02:31She's probably going to run at Churchill in September.
02:35I think you could say we're all in on tis the law.
02:39I'll be talking to Charlie offline, but no, not offline online.
02:44Charlie, I would love to have a season in tis the law. Thank you very much.
