Putra Heights inferno: Selangor to review progress on homes rebuild on Aug 8

The Selangor government will review the progress of reconstruction and repair works for homes damaged in the Putra Heights gas explosion this Friday (Aug 8), said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday (Aug 4), Amirudin said reconstruction efforts in Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru and Taman Putra Harmoni are expected to be completed by October.

He stressed that there were no discrepancies in the aid provided to victims in both housing areas, noting that assistance is based on the extent of damage and follows a fixed ceiling rate.
