WATCH: Bathurst Panthers and RSL deliver community funding grants.

00:00I want to first of all just say thank you to both Bathurst Panthers and to the Bathurst RSL Club.
00:06This is a program whereby the clubs actually, as part of a requirement, are to give back to the local communities.
00:14And as part of it, I think you can actually see today and hear today, it is actually a very important program.
00:20It's a program today where we will see over almost $120,000 being given to various organizations.
00:27And I'm going to say congratulations to both Norm Mann, who's the chair of Bathurst Panthers, and also to Ian Miller, who's the chair.
00:36Because both of these men are very passionate about making sure that our communities benefit from the investment that is given back to these organizations.
00:45Four Babies Foundation, supporting families of preemie and sick babies in the Bathurst Hospital.
01:02This program is connecting kids and offering them support for over 200 children from the Bathurst LGA, who are visiting a parent who's incarcerated.
01:12The next recipient is Dreams to Live 4 Limited, aiding mental well-being for advanced cancer patients in the Bathurst area.
01:33Third, Bathurst Scouts, and to support night lighting and security of their facility.
01:38Third, the joy of cycling for people with disabilities in the Bathurst region.
01:47Third, promoting limited, which is a veterans community engagement and resilience program, and it's delivered in a hybrid way.
01:59Third, Uranus, the Cancer Patient's Foundation, to support the look-good, feel-better program.
