Underwater robot live stream captivates Argentines

A scientist welcomes YouTube viewers to a dive stream 4,000 meters underwater in the southern Atlantic, as a robot streams high-definition footage of sea life.

This Argentine-American mission is exploring the Mar del Plata Submarine Canyon for the first time, off the coast about 400 km south of Buenos Aires. The broadcast from this dark, cold, and buzzing underwater world has gone viral.
