00:15For centuries, the Paiute tribe spoke of a race of cannibalistic, red-haired giants known as the Psy-Ti-Ka.

00:26The legends say the Paiutes banded together with neighboring tribes to wipe them out,

00:37Centuries later, in 1911, miners digging for bat guano in Lovelock Cave stumbled on something bizarre.

00:45Thousands of ancient artifacts and human remains, unlike anything they'd ever seen.

00:51Among the bones were skulls that some claimed were too large to be normal.
