00:00There comes a moment in every life when the page must turn.

00:03When the old chapter, no matter how broken, how triumphant, how familiar, must give way to something new.

00:10And right now, in this very hour, you are standing on the threshold of that moment.

00:15A new chapter is being written.

00:17The ink is not dry.

00:18The pen is still in motion.

00:20And the author of your story has not stopped writing.

00:22You may look back and see pages filled with pain, failure, or things that didn't go the way you thought they would.

00:29And maybe there were dreams that shattered, relationships that ended, doors that closed.

00:34But none of those things disqualify you from what's ahead.

00:37In fact, they prepared you.

00:39They humbled you.

00:40They built the character in you necessary for where you're about to go.

00:44A new chapter is not a continuation of the old.

00:47It's not a repeat.

00:48It's not a remix.

00:49It's a divine ship.

00:50The scenery will change.

00:52The characters may change.

00:54Your mindset must change.

02:26Lord, there is a sacred principle woven into the fabric of life itself.

02:30You cannot hold on to the past and fully embrace your future.

02:33You must choose one.

02:35You can't walk into tomorrow while your feet are chained to yesterday.

02:38For many of us, the greatest barrier to the new chapter God is trying to right is not the devil, not our enemies, not even our limitations.

02:48It's our unwillingness to let go.

02:50Letting go is not weakness.

02:52It is trust.

02:53It is a holy release.

02:54It's a declaration that says what has been will not control what will be.

02:59We often carry past failures like heavy luggage, dragging regret, shame, and disappointment with us in every new opportunity.

03:06But you weren't designed to live burdened.

03:08You were called to walk free.

03:11If you want to soar, you must drop what's been weighing you down.

03:15Sometimes it's not just the failures we must release, but even the successes.

03:19Some live in the glow of former victories and find it hard to see anything new God could possibly do.

03:26But God is not the God of once upon a time.

03:29He is the God of now.

03:31He is always moving forward.

03:33He said,

03:33Behold, I am doing a new thing.

03:35Do you not perceive it?

03:37The new thing requires that we stop rehearsing the old.

03:40That we close the door on what was so we can open the door to what could be.

03:44It's not easy.

03:45The past is familiar.

03:46It's comfortable.

03:47But comfort doesn't lead to greatness.

03:49Faith does.

03:50When the Israelites were delivered from Egypt, their bodies left the land of slavery.

03:54But their minds were still trapped.

03:56Every time things got hard, they looked back and said,

03:59We should return.

04:01That's what fear does.

04:03It pulls you backward.

04:04But destiny pulls you forward.

04:06You can't walk into the promised land if you're still holding Egypt in your heart.

04:10Letting go might mean forgiving someone who hurt you.

04:13Not for their sake, but for yours.

04:16So your soul can breathe again.

04:17It might mean laying down your own mistakes and receiving the mercy that's already been offered to you.

04:22It might mean surrendering your need to understand why something happened and trusting that even unanswered questions can be used for a greater purpose.

04:31When you let go, you make space.

04:34Space for healing.

04:35Space for vision.

04:37Space for the new chapter to be written.

04:39Holding on to the past keeps your hands full, but God wants to fill them with something better.

04:44Something holy.

04:45Something new.

04:47You can't embrace the sunrise if you keep staring at the night.

04:49You can't receive the next word if you won't stop rereading the last one.

04:53And you can't walk into a future filled with hope while you're tied to a past filled with pain.

04:58Today is not just another page.

05:00It's a turning point.

05:02It's a divine invitation.

05:04Let go.

05:05Release it.

05:06Trust that what's ahead is greater than what's behind.

05:08Because your future is not behind you.

05:11It's waiting to be embraced.

05:12Your identity is not in what you've done, but in who you were created to be.

05:17Identity beyond the past.

05:18There is a powerful truth that can shift the entire direction of your life.

05:23You are not what you've done.

05:24You are who you were created to be.

05:27The world will try to name you by your mistakes, your failures, your pain.

05:31He'll point at your past and say, that's who you are.

05:36But the author of your life never names you by your wounds.

05:39He names you by your worth and false identity.

05:42They define themselves by what happened to them.

05:45They say, I'm broken.

05:47I'm forgotten.

05:48I'm just average.

05:49I'm too far gone.

05:51But that is not how your story was meant to be written.

05:54You were not born to be bound by shame.

05:57You were not created to be buried beneath labels the world gave you.

06:00You were formed with purpose, fashioned with greatness in your DNA.

06:04We often accept the names life gives us, rejected, addict, failure, unwanted.

06:10But those names are not your calling.

06:12Your creator calls you something else?

06:14Huh?

06:15Chosen.

06:15Redeemed.

06:16Valuable.

06:17Victorious.

06:17It's time to stop answering to what you're not and start living as who you truly are.

06:22The enemy doesn't fear your past.

06:24He fears you realizing your identity.

06:27Because once you know who you are, you'll no longer settle for what you're not.

06:31When you awaken to your true identity, you begin to walk in confidence, not confusion.

06:36You begin to live with intention, not insecurity.

06:39Think of a seed.

06:40A seed doesn't look like much.

06:42It's small.

06:43It's hidden.

06:44People might overlook it.

06:46But inside that seed is the blueprint of a mighty tree.

06:49It doesn't become great by accident.

06:51It becomes great by desire.

06:53And so it is with you.

06:54You may feel small.

06:55You may feel buried.

06:57But buried is not the same as forgotten.

06:59In the right season, the seed breaks open and what was hidden becomes undeniable.

07:04Your past does not disqualify you.

07:07If anything, it's a setup.

07:08The greatest stories often begin in the darkest places.

07:11Redemption is real.

07:13Transformation is possible.

07:14But it starts with knowing who you are.

07:17You are not your scars.

07:18You are not your struggle.

07:20You are a masterpiece in process.

07:22A testimony in the making.

07:23Even when people try to remind you of your old name, don't answer.

07:28You're not that person anymore.

07:30The moment you recognize who you truly are is the moment the enemy loses power.

07:35Your identity is not determined by your performance.

07:38It's determined by your purpose.

07:40And your purpose didn't begin the day you got it all right.

07:43It began the moment you were breathed into existence.

07:46You don't have to earn your identity.

07:48You inherit it.

07:49You were creating the image of something far greater than this world could offer.

07:53That means your value isn't fragile.

07:57It can't be stolen.

07:58It can't be diminished by mistakes.

08:00It can't be erased by failure.

08:02What was spoken over you in eternity is stronger than what was spoken against you in time.

08:07So walk boldly.

08:09Not because of what you've done, but because of who you are.

08:12The next chapter of your life isn't about striving to become someone new.

08:16It's about stepping fully into who you've always been.

08:19It's time to leave behind the lies.

08:21Lay down the false names.

08:23Embrace your true identity.

08:25Because when you know who you are, nothing can stop you from becoming all you were meant to be.

08:32It's a doorway.

08:33There are moments in life when something ends.

08:36A relationship falls apart.

08:37A dream slips through your fingers.

08:39A chapter closes that you thought would last forever.

08:42In those moments, it feels final.

08:44It feels like loss, like death.

08:47We grieve the ending.

08:48We question our decisions.

08:50We wonder if we've missed our one chance at something good.

08:53It's easy to stand over the broken pieces and mistake them for ruins when, in truth, they're the foundation of what comes next.

09:01But endings are not always tombstones.

09:03They're not always reminders of what died or what was lost.

09:06Sometimes there are doorways silent invitations into the next thing.

09:10You see, you cannot begin something new while clinging tightly to the old.

09:15Just like a seed must break to grow, something must be surrendered for something greater to take its place.

09:21The challenge is, we are conditioned to fear endings.

09:24We avoid them.

09:25We mourn them.

09:26But we don't often recognize that many of the greatest transformations in history began with something ending.

09:31The wilderness ends, and a promised land begins.

09:35Night ends, and light breaks in.

09:37Even winter must give way to spring.

09:39But in the middle of it, in that sacred in-between, we are tempted to give up.

09:45We mistake transition for failure.

09:47We think silence means abandonment.

09:49But sometimes the greatest miracles are growing quietly and visibly beneath the surface.

09:54Think of a door.

09:55A closed door can look like rejection, like limitation.

09:59But a door also has a handle.

10:01It isn't just something that shuts you out.

10:03It's something that can be opened.

10:04Sometimes you might be standing at a door right now, uncertain of what's on the other side.

10:09But you're not meant to stay there forever.

10:12You're meant to walk through it.

10:14Even if you don't know what's waiting.

10:16Trust that the one who leads you knows the way.

10:19Often, we try to hold on to things long past their season.

10:23We cling to friendships that no longer feed us.

10:26Jobs that no longer challenge us.

10:28Routines that no longer serve us.

10:30But just because something once was right, doesn't mean it still is.

10:33What brought you this far may not be what takes you the rest of the way.

10:37And that's not a failure.

10:39It's growth.

10:40Change feels like loss.

10:41But it's really preparation.

10:43The ending you're grieving may be the very thing that's making room for something better.

10:48Sometimes it's the closing of one chapter that gives birth to a better story.

10:52And in every story, the turning point is the moment when the character decides to step into the unknown.

10:58To move forward, not backward.

11:00That's where you are.

11:01You're at a turning point and you don't have to fear it.

11:05You may feel like your plans have fallen apart.

11:08But perhaps it's not that they've fallen apart.

11:10It's that they're falling into place.

11:12Sometimes we must let go of what's good so we can receive what's great.

11:17Every chapter of your life has a purpose.

11:19But some are shorter than others.

11:21That doesn't mean they were less valuable.

11:23It means they did their job.

11:25Look at the pages behind you with gratitude, not regret.

11:28Because they brought you here.

11:30But don't camp in yesterday.

11:32Don't keep rereading the last paragraph.

11:35There's more ahead.

11:36There's always more.

11:37This new chapter is not just something that's happening to you.

11:40It's something being written through you.

11:42Your story isn't over.

11:43In fact, it's just beginning.

11:45The pen is still in the hand of the author.

11:47And he hasn't stopped writing.

11:49So lift your eyes.

11:50Take a deep breath.

11:51And walk through the doorway.

11:53Because what looks like an end may just be the start of the most powerful chapter yet.

11:59You are not who you were.

12:00You are becoming who you're meant to be.

12:03There's a powerful truth we often overlook as we journey through life.

12:07We are not fixed, finished beings.

12:09Who you are today is not the full picture.

12:12You don't have to have the whole path mapped out.

12:14You just need to be willing to take the first step.

12:17We've been trained by fear to hesitate.

12:20Trained by disappointment to shrink back.

12:22And trained by failure to believe that false start means final stop.

12:27But that's not the truth.

12:28What lies ahead is not just different.

12:31It's greater.

12:32There's a temptation to think that the next chapter in life will simply be a continuation of the last.

12:37Just more of the same.

12:39We often settle for the idea that the future will be a recycled version of the past with a few minor edits.
