00:00The top of the market, is there anything that we agree, disagree with,

00:04a number that really catches the attention?

00:06The top of the odds board right now belongs to Purdue.

00:109-1 individually, standalone.

00:12Not far behind Houston and Duke, who, of course, last year met in the Final Four

00:18with that still remarkable Houston comeback victory.

00:22Your reigning national champion, Florida Gators, are alongside Kentucky and UConn,

00:27rounding out the top six.

00:30Michigan and St. John's are the only other teams underneath that 20-1 barrier.

00:37What stands out to you, JY, when you get eyes on the national championship odds?

00:42Well, it's the decision of Milo Uzun to return back to Houston, I think.

00:47It's the one that kind of moved me.

00:49When you had, you know, obviously Lawyer and Bradensmith come back to Purdue,

00:56with, obviously, with Jacobs coming back, Kauffman-Renton,

00:59you kind of thought that they were going to be at the top of the board.

01:02But when they got Milo Uzun to come out of the NBA draft and go back,

01:07along with Emmanuel Sharp, and then, obviously, Tugler at the center position,

01:12you kind of looked at Houston as being that team.

01:15But it's deeper than that.

01:17The number two ranked class, according to ESPN, is headed by a kid named Chris Sinek,

01:24which is a 6'10 monster in the pivot, along with two high-level guards that were in the top 25.

01:31It's interesting now because now Houston is starting to become a place where young kids are starting to go.

01:40Maybe it's a jump to the Big 12.

01:42Maybe it's a fact that Calvin Sampson, let's be honest, folks,

01:46Houston does not play the most exciting brand of basketball when it comes to attracting talent.

01:52But Calvin Sampson's attracting high-level players, and every year I keep going,

01:57this is going to be the year for Houston.

01:58This is going to be the year for Houston.

02:00And now I'm looking at them like, well, here we go.

02:02Now they have the young pieces.

02:04Archeno comes back as well.

02:05You know, now you look at they have the experience coming back and the young kids,

02:10especially if Sinek can be in that pivot with Tuggler,

02:14that makes me believe with I think Calvin Sampson being one of the best defensive coaches in the country,

02:20Houston at 10-1 would be my pick right now with a national championship.
