00:00...your performances later.
00:02Hello.
00:07First, I'd like to thank NCCA Mayor
00:09Miguelino Macamanalo at the Board of Commissioners.
00:12Thank you so much, President De De Chimbo.
00:14And of course, NCCA Executive Director Dr. Mary Zerudo
00:17and the representatives of the Office of the President.
00:20To our former groups,
00:22to the amazing people who support
00:25and also ... groups who are here in Crescent Dade.
00:29Thank you so much.
00:31And also, I'm just really having a good day here.
00:34Can you bend?
00:35Not many people know this,
00:38but I was just having a conversation earlier.
00:41Being in a choir was my first introduction to music.
00:45I think I was only eight years old
00:48when I joined a choir in a school
00:50and I continued to be in my school choir
00:52to the age of 17.
00:53So really, for the whole of my school experience
00:57from the age of eight, I was a part of the fire.
01:00The reason that I look back so fondly
01:02on the memories of being a martyr of a choral school
01:05is that not only did it introduce me to the joy of music,
01:09for some reason.
01:10So you really exposed while reading sheet music.
01:12Back then, while I was ta-na-na,
01:14I know, I don't know.
01:16Also, the range of your voice.
01:18Am I an alto?
01:19A soprano?
01:20It also really allowed me,
01:24as someone and all of us start that way,
01:27that we're so used to just hearing a single voice
01:30resonating from our bodies.
01:32but there's something emboldening about finding yourself surrounded by other voices
01:38and that's exactly what a choir and being a part of choir allows us to experience
01:44we're trying to think about it to be a metaphor for many things in life
01:48so it gives me a lot of joy see that the love of the music is present in so many of you that are
01:54here with us today and I pray and hope that this will be just the beginning of our musical journeys
02:00as you explore and pursue Filipino excellence in music and craft
02:06hope money to be seen on the global stage as well as you so I'm not excited to happen
02:10to all of our leaders and our global leaders thank you so much for this important guidance
02:17that you give your groups and a lot of time and effort moves into teaching the pieces
02:22rallying the kids together bringing out what joined and that comes out so evidently on the stage
02:27so I do want to acknowledge the contribution that you so give
02:32to people that you know these things together and I'm just looking forward to seeing you
02:36like theソ said that you should be the other side and then I'm gonna take that and
02:41see you in the future as a forest.
02:43So absolutely I continue to speak.
02:44Thank you for listening to my development.
02:46I hope you've been up for now and I hope that you've helped me out.
02:50So I hope you've enjoyed this video.
02:50I hope you enjoyed this video being liked and I hope you enjoyed this video.
02:52Thank you for a lot of people you haven't started looking forward for me.
