00:00Dive into it, Adrian, because, listen, you were able to walk out with some bread, probably not the bread that you were hoping.
00:05But I walked out with some bread.
00:09Yeah.
00:10Well, I would say that, you know, that crust was probably moistened by a lot of tears and emotions that were happening throughout those last few minutes of you in the house.
00:19Now, it's interesting because when Kelly won the blockbuster, you were very clearly, you know, emotional about it.
00:26And then that sort of translates to this period before the vote where you're going around talking to people.
00:31But it's clear everyone is very upset when they're hearing the speeches and everything.
00:35So what was the sense that you got over that period?
00:39Did you think that when Kelly won the blockbuster, like, that's it, I'm done?
00:43Yeah, I knew that it was hard for me to get votes.
00:48If everyone stood to their word, I would have had enough votes at least to break a tie.
00:54And I believe Lauren could have broken that.
00:57But it was risky because Lauren had done me dirty all week long.
01:01You know, she put up Kelly, she put up Will, and then she put up me to put the nail in the coffin.
01:05So it was a long shot to win that vote.
01:10And I kind of knew I was done.
01:12Will was such a good pawn to put up.
01:14Like, everyone loves the guy.
01:16No one's threatened by him.
01:17And I was seen as too big of a potential comp beast.
01:22And also, at the same time, I was close to Kelly and Keanu, which were the two other biggest targets in the house.
01:30So, yeah, it was very emotional because I loved everyone.
01:33I believe everyone did love me.
01:35And it was hard.
01:35It was hard to see me go, I would say.
01:37I mean, Will, I mean, oh, man, I love the guy.
01:40I didn't want to see him go, but I didn't want to see myself go.
01:42You know, I had a lot of fight in me.
01:43I've trained for these comps.
01:45I had a lot ready in here.
01:47It was so hard not to talk about comps.
01:50Everyone was theorizing the comps.
01:52Some people were like, what was the name of this?
01:53Who was this winner?
01:54Who played it?
01:55I knew all the answers.
01:56I was like, oh, yeah, that was season 24.
01:58I was season 20, right?
02:00I'm like, I knew all the comps.
02:01I knew all the names.
02:02And I knew, like, the best strategies for them.
02:04But I had to, like, shut my mouth, act like I didn't know.
02:07Like, hey, what comp were you talking about?
02:08Oh, okay, thanks.
02:09So I was trying to, like, downplay my knowledge of the game.
02:13But that didn't really help me too much in the long term, I guess.
02:17Well, you talked about, you know, having the votes.
02:20You know, I guess I can reveal to you that certainly there were some wheels in motion
02:23to potentially tie the vote up and have Lauren break the tie.
02:28There were just some stirrings over the past 24 hours or so leading up to your eviction
02:31where Vince and Zach, you know, had talked with Ava a little bit
02:35and then talked with Lauren and realized, like, okay, we don't want to put Lauren in that position
02:40and also at the same time don't want to necessarily be linked with the other people
02:44who voted to keep you.
02:45What's your reaction to all that?
02:48My reaction is, I mean, I understand.
02:52Like, I didn't want to put them in, like, the worst position, like,
02:55and ask them to vote on Will's side to save their game.
02:59But at the same time, I had to save my game, right?
03:01I was like, it was a possibility that I could have still stayed in the House
03:05and rallied the votes against Will.
03:08But everyone would have had to stick to their word.
03:10But, again, they're already scared.
03:12They're scared to go against the House.
03:14I'm like, they say that they're not afraid to make moves.
03:17I let them know who's potentially that what I believe is going to come after them
03:21to give them the best, like, knowledge, like, moving forward.
03:25Like, Zach, Vince, I told them who I think that's coming after them.
03:28I said I would win, and I'm not afraid to take that shot.
03:31They knew that I was a competitor, and I was hoping that they would still vote
03:34on my side in order for me to still play this game and fight along their side.
03:40But, I mean, it stinks that they're running afraid.
03:44But, I mean, I guess that's the game of Big Brother.
03:47You know, maybe I should have just played with, like, people that have some guts,
03:51you know, some guts in the game.
03:52But I guess, you know, they saved their game.
03:55They're playing it safe.
03:55Like, this is no fun, but I guess they're still in the House, and I'm not.
03:59So, we'll see.
04:00Well, I want to talk a bit about your approach to things, because, again,
04:04you know, we checked out your interview before going into the House.
04:06You were shot out of a cannon, as you mentioned.
04:09Superfan, perhaps the biggest one of this cast.
04:11And so, I think a lot of us were surprised when we see you on the feeds,
04:15and you're playing not only this very low-key game,
04:17but you're really preaching these ideas of honesty and loyalty to the rest of the House.
04:22Was that something you came in with the intention of doing,
04:25or did something change once you got in there that caused you to go in that direction?
04:29Well, honestly, I wasn't planning.
04:32My strategy wasn't.
04:33I didn't bring this whole concept of being honest and, like, loyalty into the House.
04:38It was just something that, like, I just am.
04:41Like, in real life, I'm very honest.
04:43So, I'm like, I love honesty, and I just knew that people were going to start lying,
04:47and they're going to lie about their belt.
04:49They're going to lie to your face, and I didn't want to play that game.
04:52And I knew that long-term, I believed it would have helped me out in the long run.
04:56And I truly still stand by my statement.
04:59I think it would have came in handy, because without people,
05:03everyone told me, like, Adrian can't lie.
05:05He just doesn't lie.
05:06He can't lie.
05:07So, I think it really did help me in the game when it came to people trusting me with information.
05:12They're like, he won't lie.
05:13He's giving me his word.
05:14I truly do trust him.
05:16The only downfall was I was associated with other people that played way different games.
05:20Kelly, she played super hard.
05:22She was a huge target.
05:23She was instigating things.
05:25And, you know, people didn't like that.
05:27But I was associated with Kelly pretty right off the bat.
05:31Same thing with Keanu.
05:32Keanu has been known to lie.
05:34He lied to me.
05:35Even though he voted to keep me, you know, he was the House biggest target.
05:40You know, people saw him as a huge physical threat.
05:41He's lied in the past.
05:43And they just associated, since Kelly was close to Keanu and I was close to Kelly,
05:47we just kind of got bunched together and said, hey, these are the three biggest targets in the House.
05:54We need to get them out.
05:55So, I guess that was kind of like the downfall.
05:59But if I had to go in there, I would still like to play the same way.
06:02But probably just win the first HOH and not throw it would probably be my hugest difference.
06:09Because one of my rules is like rule number one, you got to create or join the winning alliance.
06:14Obviously, that didn't really go to plan.
06:17But the best way to do that is from a position of power.
06:21And that's winning the first HOH.
06:22But I didn't really, when I got in there, I changed my mind and decided that I wanted to play a low-key,
06:29kind of fall-in-the-background type of game.
06:32But the problem was that I was already seen as too big of a threat for getting close to winning the first competition.
06:38It's rather you win it completely or you completely throw it.
06:43Like, you can't have in-between.
06:44The best place is probably third place.
06:47Like, season 16, Derek said it perfectly.
06:50Like, you want to come off strong, but not too strong.
06:52Second place, it's just too strong for it.
06:55And I kept getting second place.
06:57I was the comp beast that never won, you know.
07:00Now, which makes no sense, but, I mean, that's how they viewed me.
07:03And they saw me as a threat.
07:06Well, something that probably did not help is the fact that you went around to people saying, like,
07:10we've got to get the liars out of the game.
07:13Which I think some people that would lie, which a lot of people do in Big Brother,
07:17would take as a sign of, like, oh, no, Adrian's coming after me.
07:19Talk to me about that tactic.
07:22I wanted to drive kind of the stigma that, hey, don't lie to me or I'm coming for you, right?
07:29So, you could be honest.
07:30Like, if you don't want to tell me the truth, fine.
07:32Just don't tell me.
07:34But one thing I ask is to not lie about it.
07:36If you don't want to give me your vote, that's fine.
07:39But don't say you're going to give me it and then lie about it because then I'm coming after you.
07:43So, like, and I think with that, for the most part, most people came to me with the truth.
07:49But I knew who the liars were.
07:51I knew Mickey seemed to be pretty open about working with me and about, like, how she saw the house.
07:58But I knew she lied to me about that power.
08:01It has yet to be confirmed to me.
08:03But I know she has the power.
08:04I mean, I can confirm that is indeed the case.
08:06And it's a big mistake.
08:07I mean, yeah, she had the power.
08:09I asked her if she – I didn't ask her if she had the power.
08:12I set it up in the way so she could not lie to me.
08:15I said, do you know who has the power so that she's not directly telling me that she has the power?
08:22And she said no.
08:23I knew she had the power.
08:25But other than that, I really did believe she would keep me safe.
08:28I would have loved to work with Mickey.
08:30But the only thing is she wouldn't give me her vote.
08:32And I knew that from the start.
08:33I was just planning to win because I felt like if I did win, I could still make it far in that game as long as I won.
08:40And I wasn't up there against Will tonight or last night.
08:42But I didn't win, of course.
08:45Got close, but close isn't good enough, you know?
08:49Well, let's finish with some rapid-fire thoughts on the people that are left in the house.
08:53I'll give you a name of one of the remaining house guests.
08:55You give me the first word or a few words that come to mind for that person.
09:00All right.
09:01Let's start with Ashley.
09:03Ashley.
09:06I don't know.
09:09No sense of urgency.
09:11No sense.
09:12I love her.
09:14How about Ava?
09:16Ava.
09:17Floater.
09:18Okay.
09:19Even though she helped make the push to get you out?
09:22Yeah.
09:23I mean, no.
09:24She was running tickets.
09:25She was never going to give me the vote.
09:27I knew she would never give me the vote.
09:28And she was scared of physical threats.
09:30And I knew that.
09:31And the fact that, like, I don't see you're making big moves.
09:34She's not really socializing a lot with the house.
09:37And every time you try to talk games, sometimes she's always, like, she pretends and, like,
09:42said, oh, I'm clocked out.
09:44And it's just, like, I don't really see you're making big moves.
09:46I see you're just kind of, like, falling in the background, trying to stay off people's radar, which works.
09:51But it's just not a game that, it's not someone I would have wanted to work with long term.
09:55I would have wanted someone that had guts.
09:56I want to take shots.
09:57I want to make big moves, you know.
09:59That isn't afraid to take a shot at the other side.
10:01I was trying, I was trying to win so that, I was going to plan to win the next HOA so that my side starts getting some power.
10:08And I can knock out some numbers from the other side.
10:11How about Jimmy?
10:13Jimmy, he's a freaking liar.
10:16The biggest liar in the house.
10:19The one thing he loves more than lying is the spotlight.
10:23And the greatest way I was going to return that favor was put him on the block like he did to me.
10:27But never got that chance.
10:30Catherine.
10:31Catherine.
10:33I like Catherine.
10:34Especially, like, I do trust her.
10:37I would have protected her and Riley in the game.
10:39But, unfortunately, the house was plain scared and didn't keep me in.
10:45Alright, one of the people you said you were linked up with, Keanu.
10:49Ah, Keanu, love the guy.
10:51Love the guy.
10:52I hope he still, if he's still, Tari, I hope he gives the house a piece of his mind.
10:57Because he can do it.
10:58If he can keep taking himself off, I hope he doesn't get backdoor like I did.
11:03But I just hope he doesn't get paired up with Kelly because I want both of them to go kind of far.
11:08Well, on that note, Kelly.
11:11Kelly.
11:11Oh, I love Kelly so much.
11:13It stinks that we had to distance ourselves to, like, try to take the target off my back.
11:18But I wish I could have told her more about games, like, strategies for different competitions potentially coming up.
11:23Especially the BB Comics, Wall Comp, like, the spelling things.
11:28Like, ah, there's so much strategy I know about different competitions that I wish I could have informed her.
11:33It was crazy because, I don't know, I'm sorry, it's too quick.
11:36I remember before the laser comp, I told her, this is going to be lasers.
11:39Stretch, you're going to get low.
11:40And then I guess in the storage room, she was literally practicing, like, going under cabinets, like, over, like, brooms.
11:46She was practicing so much.
11:47And because I knew exactly what competition it was going to be, of course, she didn't win.
11:52But I knew a lot.
11:53So I tried to give her the best help I could.
11:56Well, how about Lauren?
11:58Lauren, oh, my gosh.
12:00You're either lying to me or you're running freaking scared, man.
12:03Ah, I tried to tell you I had your back.
12:07She couldn't.
12:07Ah, she wouldn't.
12:08She wouldn't listen.
12:09She was too scared.
12:10But in the safe place, if her goal was not to get blood on her hands, she accomplished it perfectly.
12:16But if her goal was to make it to the end, I don't know how well that's going to work.
12:20Because I know there are some sides that I would say are stronger that are willing to put her on the block,
12:25whether she voted with them or against them.
12:28So we'll see how far she goes.
12:30You mentioned her before, Mickey.
12:32Mickey, she's probably the most well-positioned in this game, especially with that power.
12:38She's planning to work on jury.
12:40She's trying to get people out that she knows that, one, she can't work with,
12:43and, one, that she wouldn't have the jury votes to win this game.
12:48She's well-positioned in this house.
12:49The only thing is she lied to me.
12:52So I let some people know who she was going to target just to make sure that I knew she wasn't going to vote my way.
13:01And I knew that, I trusted that she, like, I think we could have worked well together,
13:04except that I knew that I wasn't, like, her number one person to take with to the end.
13:09So I made sure that my close allies knew what her targets were and that to just help them, you know,
13:16I guess stir the pot a little bit.
13:18Like, make people take shots.
13:19Stop running scared, man.
13:20You're all going to come after each other eventually.
13:22So I hope my side takes the shot first.
13:25Morgan.
13:26Morgan!
13:27Oh!
13:28I knew she was scared of me.
13:30She knew that.
13:32Like, she was scared to compete against me.
13:34I knew she wasn't giving me her vote.
13:35She's kind of well-positioned in the house, but I know she has a brewing target.
13:43We didn't talk much game.
13:44She didn't really lie to me too much, but I know she wasn't telling me the full truth.
13:49I would probably target her pretty soon.
13:52How about Rachel?
13:54Rachel, Rachel, Rachel.
13:55We didn't talk much in the house.
13:58It was just hard just to connect with her.
14:00I think she wanted me to be more of an open book, especially about, like, more details about my family.
14:05I love my family, but I didn't want to put their lives on the internet.
14:08So I try to keep it a little bit under wraps out of respect to my family's privacy.
14:13But for her, I don't know if I could have trusted her, but I really do wish her the best in this game.
14:19I told her right before I left that I wished her good luck because I know she doesn't believe she's going to be the first two-time winner,
14:25but I don't want her to lose hope.
14:26You know, I wish people the best, and I hope she does well.
14:30All right.
14:30Really quick here.
14:31Just final few guys.
14:32One word.
14:33Let's go with Riley.
14:35Riley?
14:36I mean, I love the guy.
14:37I freaking love the guy.
14:38He voted on my side.
14:40I trusted him.
14:41Like, I knew that he was – I felt that he had my back, and I knew he was an honorable player.
14:49I just – man, I love the guy.
14:51He's fun.
14:52He's crazy.
14:53Maybe a little too crazy, but, I mean, I plan to see him outside of this house, though, for sure.
15:00Really quick, Vince.
15:01Vince.
15:02Vince.
15:02Oh, Vince.
15:03I don't know who you're playing.
15:05I think he's well-positioned.
15:07I see him, like, walking in rooms with Morgan, Mickey, and Jimmy, and, you know, then he's well with – he's close to me.
15:14Vince – no, Kelly.
15:15Like, he – and Zach, like, he's pretty well-positioned in the house.
15:18I don't know if he's playing – like, I think he's trying to play both sides of the house, definitely.
15:24Just because he's quiet, he's not naming names.
15:26He's trying to keep a low profile.
15:27So, he could make it far, but he just got to be careful that his side wins before Mickey or Ashley or Rachel takes that shot first.
15:38Will.
15:39Will.
15:40Oh, I love Will.
15:41He's so fun.
15:42Like, oh, my gosh.
15:43I mean, we would just talk.
15:45He's so fun, especially if he's drinking a little bit.
15:48He's open book, man.
15:50I love Will to death.
15:51But, I mean, yeah, I mean, I love Will.
15:57And last but not least, Zach.
15:59Zach.
16:00Oh!
16:01Oh!
16:02Me and Zach, we're supposed to run this game.
16:04We're supposed to make it – I wanted to work the strongest fighters.
16:07I knew he was one, but he just didn't have, like, a lot of opportunities to play in this game.
16:12So, unfortunately, we didn't get to see that.
16:14The only competition we really competed in together was the in-the-dark comp, which was a lot of luck.
16:20So, I tried my best, but we didn't pull out or win that HOH.
16:25Well, thank you, Adrian, for everything you brought to the season and to this conversation.
16:29I wish you and your family and the praying mantis is nothing but the best.
16:32And thanks so much, man.
16:33All the best.
16:34You too.
16:35All right.
16:35Have a good one.
16:35Bye.
16:36You too.
