00:00What's the price tag going to be for Kyle Tucker?
00:04I think the over-under is $450 million.
00:10Would you put the Cubs as the favorite?
00:13Yes.
00:14Okay. I like that. I like that.
00:18All right.
00:19They see what he's done, but I'll tell you what, guys.
00:24Owen Casey's still sitting at AAA right now,
00:26and he would look pretty good in right field.
00:30Jed told us earlier, he's like, there's no reason we can't have both.
00:33Owen Casey and Kyle Tucker.
00:35So I was like, because Lefty Slug is a valuable...
00:37And Pete Crow Armstrong, Andy in half, and Faya Suzuki.
00:42The reason is because you don't have enough positions on the field for them.
00:45Moises Ballesteros, don't leave him out of the party either.
00:49Well, I think that's why Cubs fans are disappointed.
00:51It felt like there was a room to deal from a surplus to go win this World Series.
00:57I think that's a totally fair argument.
01:02And if the Cubs and the Red Sox similarly can be accused of anything,
01:08it's being a little too conservative at this deadline.
01:11But, man, paying prices at the deadline,
01:14it's a really hard thing for teams that try to make good decisions to do
01:20because deadlines are irrational, and they create irrational behavior.
01:25But I'll say this, you know, this year it wasn't the case,
01:28but the Dodgers have been very irrational at deadlines before
01:32and it sure worked out well for them.
