00:12And I say that with the best intention in the world.
00:15If I'm still doing what I'm doing in five years time, there's something wrong.
00:19Now, this is the bit, lots of people shy away from this.
00:21I don't. AI will replace jobs, you know, and it doesn't matter the type of job that you're actually in.
00:27I'm finding it very difficult today to find jobs that it won't impact.
00:30And therefore, we have to embrace it.
00:32But look, this is a history of jobs in general.
00:36If you think about it, there's a lot less software engineers or Sadler, sorry, than software engineers.
00:41And in about five years time, there'll be a lot less software engineers than there are today.
00:46Jobs have always been, you know, impacted.
00:48I think when I look at it, we fear what we don't know.
00:52AI is one of those big unknowns, but it doesn't matter where it is, what we're doing.
00:56Any particular job, and this is the worrying bit at the moment for most, the so-called, you know, knowledge worker jobs, the bank workers, the estate agents, the educators, the website builders, the translators, the copywriters, or the consultants.
01:10All of those jobs, it's not a case of they will be under threat.
01:13They are already under threat.
01:15AI is embedding itself into all those roles at this moment in time.
01:19So it can, it will, and it's already impacting roles today.
01:23What we've got to do is, like every other technology that came before us, is not fear it, embrace it, but understand the risks, make it part of what we do to allow us to be, you know, dare I say, more augmented, more innovative, more creative, more productive, to allow ourselves to be what I would describe as employable, not just in the short term, but in the long term as well.
