00:00Is your job under threat from Artificial Intelligence?

00:04If ChatGPT were a person, it could get hired for an entry-level coding position at Google,

00:10revealed an internal document from the search engine.

00:13But that's not to say that the AI chatbot can replace coders and programmers entirely.

00:18In response to our prompt, ChatGPT itself replied, saying it can assist with coding

00:24tasks and generate code snippets, but it can't match up to a human in creativity,

00:30critical thinking, problem-solving, and complex decision-making.

00:36But what are some of the jobs that AI could replace in India?

00:40We asked ChatGPT to list some of them for us.

00:43The chatbot said AI wouldn't necessarily replace these jobs,

00:47but it could take over certain tasks within these jobs.

00:51BPO or Call Center Worker

00:53AI can answer simple customer questions and provide support.

00:57Data Entry Operator

00:59AI can perform simple clerical tasks.

01:01Sales Representative

01:03AI can provide product recommendations.

01:05Legal Assistant

01:07AI can help with basic legal research and in-document preparation.

01:11Delivery Driver

01:13AI can perform autonomous vehicle operations.

01:15Journalist

01:17AI can write basic news reports.

01:21In fact, a recent Goldman Sachs study showed that AI could impact 300 million full-time jobs worldwide.

01:31There are multiple such lists that have surfaced since ChatGPT was launched for the public in 2022.

01:38The jobs that appeared most frequently on these lists were media jobs like advertising, reporting, and content creation.

01:46Tech jobs like coding and data analytics.

01:50Paralegals and Legal Assistants

01:52Market Research Analysts

01:54Teachers and many more.

01:59AI has also made its presence felt in the education sector.

02:03Research conducted at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School

02:07showed that ChatGPT could pass the final exam for their MBA program,

02:12but it did struggle to solve basic 6th grade maths.

02:15ChatGPT could also pass four exams at the law school in the University of Minnesota,

02:20but it barely scraped by with a C-plus grade.

02:23While ChatGPT has been put to multiple such tests and cleared most of them,

02:29the scope of AI is much wider.

02:31Google CEO Sundar Pichai even warned that society needs to prepare itself for the upcoming technologies.
