00:00He's been an army officer, a broadcaster and an MP. Now Adam Holloway can add another title
00:08to his CV. Defector. This week the former representative for Gravesham for nearly two
00:16decades jumped ship from the Conservatives to Reform UK. But having been ousted by Labour last
00:25year is his move sincere. I come with humility when I saw Farage I didn't ask him for anything
00:32you know please can I have my seat or what nothing like that you know I'm just slowly slowly going to
00:37see what I can do to help because there is a very big job as you rightly identified for reform
00:43over the next few years. Adam Holloway says his defection to Reform UK isn't about winning his
00:50old seats back. But if there was to be an election here in Gravesend tomorrow the party would likely
00:57come out on top. Which raises the question do people know who Adam Holloway actually is and would they
01:06support him if he were to run again? Do you know who this is right here? Unfortunately yes. I recognise
01:12the face but I don't know who he is. Adam Holloway. Adam that's it. Adam Holloway that's right yes. Did you know that he's
01:19switched to Reform UK? Has he really? Well done. He's done a good job. Well that's a good move but better late than ever I suppose. Oh well good for him. Good for him. I mean you know you choose your own
01:33what you ever want to do didn't you? Probably doing the right thing you switch into some a team that are going to
01:40run this country a lot better than it's been on the run. Any person who's been here long enough who's from
01:45an immigrant background can see these people coming from a mile off. We know their type. We're very
01:51familiar with them from the days of Enoch Powell to now Nigel Farage so you can be rest assured that they
01:56wouldn't be getting my vote. You wouldn't be voting for him again if he stood here again? Definitely not.
02:00He's well known around Gravesend area and he has helped and done a lot of things for a lot of people
02:06so yeah possibly. Yes I would yes. Very conservative here with Graveship so I don't know I don't think
02:14I don't think he'll get Graveship no. Whether or not he will run again is up in the air but with the
02:21election not expected until 2029 he has plenty of time to make up his mind. Oli Lieder in Gravesend.
