00:00Trump's Tariff Dictate
00:04India Stands Up To Bullying
00:12Government Says National Interest First
00:17Fourth Largest Economy Dead Mr. Trump
00:32Top Focus on 5 Live
00:34Well there's a big claim and it's a bizarre and outrageous claim that the Indian economy is dead
00:43It's what the total front the US President has declared
00:47The leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has also echoed the same sentiments
00:52But that is far from the truth
00:55We'll be getting you up to speed with all those details on the war that has broken out
00:59Over the announcement of 25% plus tariffs up ahead on the show
01:04I'm Sneha Mordani, let's begin this edition of 5 Live
01:07Well this is the first reaction from the Government of India with the Commerce Minister
01:17Piyush Goyal responding in Rad Sabha today in Parliament says
01:20The steady rise in exports in the last 11 years
01:24The government is confident of fast-paced growth
01:27Goyal has said India to become the third largest economy
01:30In response to Donald Trump saying that India's economy is dead
01:34Goyal has said India contributes 16% to global growth
01:38India's talent is driving innovation is what Piyush Goyal has said in Parliament today
01:44Listen up
01:45The implications of the recent development are being examined by the Government
01:51The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is engaged with all stakeholders including explorers and industry for taking feedback of their assessment of the situation
02:06The government attaches the utmost importance to protecting and promoting the welfare of our farmers, workers, entrepreneurs, exporters, MSMEs and all sections of industry
02:24We will take all necessary steps to secure and advance our national interest
02:33I'm going to go straight across to my colleague joining in from Business Today Television
02:40Karishma is with us
02:41Karishma, this is a bizarre statement that was made by Donald Trump
02:45And India has in fact put out the facts here about how India's economy is far from being dead
02:51It's one of the most robust and thriving economies from among in fact so many countries across the world essentially
02:58And that is something that has been spelt out by the Commerce Minister today in Parliament
03:03Well yes, absolutely
03:08I think his comments do come in with a set of vulnerabilities
03:12And the fact he called both the India and Russia as dead economies is something that's not factually true
03:20And that is where Piyush Goel's comments in the Parliament have come in
03:23Where he's defended the fact that India is a country which has shown stronger resilience
03:28Even during bigger challenges like that of Covid
03:32And it's moved its position from fragile 5 to that of now top 5 economies in the world
03:38Its macroeconomic indicators like GDP growth, inflation and its fiscal glide path
03:45Do talk about how India has been able to fiscally manage its position in the last 10 years
03:53But more so like I think Donald Trump's comments do come out of a sense of frustration
04:00And our relationship with and our dependence on certain imports when it comes to Russia and Iran
04:07And I think that is where his vulnerabilities had given in order to comment this for India
04:17Be with us Karishma, a word also from Aishwarya Palawal
04:21Tracking all of those details
04:22Talk to us Aishwarya about what next and how they are going to be countering aid this statement
04:27And also the imposition and this bullying that has come India's way as far as 25% plus tariffs are concerned
04:34What next? What is going to be the Indian government's strategy? Tell us more
04:38First there one thing is very very clear
04:42It cannot be tit for tat and it cannot be a knee jerk reaction
04:45That is something that the government very clearly understands
04:47And that's why we are now seeing a very measured approach being taken by the government
04:52And this is very very evident with regards to the statements which are being made by the commerce minister
04:56He is saying that we are now evaluating what needs to be done
04:59All the stakeholders, all those people who are exporting, who are importing
05:03The government is now having a long conversation with them
05:05Because this is not something which can, you know, it's not tit for tat
05:09And it cannot be a knee jerk reaction because the implications will be huge on the Indian economy
05:13The government is now looking at making sure that India becomes the third largest economy in the world
05:18So that's the focus of the government at the moment
05:20Being a developed nation by 2047 is also something that the government is looking at
05:24So they cannot take any chances
05:26That's something which they are very keenly looking at
05:28And that's the reason why we are seeing a measured response coming in
05:31We will see more statements coming in from the government in the course of the next 15 days
05:35That's right, you put it rightly there Aishwarya
05:36I agree with you
05:37It's a rather measured response from the government this time around
05:40But they've been fairly calculated about this
05:42And there are no knee jerk reactions
05:44When it comes to India's response
05:46More news coming in
05:47Government isn't too worried about the US tariff situation
05:50India is not going to retaliate
05:53Silence is the answer
05:55Whatever we do, we will do it on the negotiation table
05:58When we did nuclear testing, so many sanctions were put on us
06:02That time we were a small economy
06:04Today we are a self-sufficient economic power
06:07Why should we worry now?
06:09Atmanirbar really is the message from the government
06:13Tarishma continues to be with us
06:15On that, India is obviously waiting for the right time
06:19I guess, Tarishma, this has obviously got to do with negotiations
06:22Which are currently even underway as we speak
06:25Even as that knee jerk sort of a reaction comes in from Donald Trump
06:28You know, ranting about our economy
06:30Talking about Russia at the same length
06:32This is something that India is going to do
06:34Talk where it matters
06:36And talk in a way which is calculative and also beneficial to us
06:40India is taking a wait and watch approach
06:46We are in a time period of silence
06:50Because we do not want to take an impulsive decision of responding to the US
06:56Because I am sure it has come after a lot of discussions and negotiations
07:01And as much as I know
07:02Government was preparing to re-strategize their ways out for a week now
07:08Because they were expecting this to be on cards
07:10Sources in the government have been telling us
07:13That they will continue to negotiate with the US
07:17In fact, five rounds of negotiations were recently also held
07:22By India's chief negotiator
07:26Minister Piyush Gowal had also visited Washington recently
07:29And Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Trump
07:33Have also had a meeting early this year
07:35The reason why we thought we did have a first-mover advantage
07:39And that our friendship could have resulted in something better
07:41But never mind, I think India is taking a sweet and subtle approach
07:45We are looking forward to close our bilateral trade agreement
07:48We are focusing on long-term relationship
07:51Rather than being impacted by these short-term hurdles
07:54I'm going to come back to you in a moment from now
07:57Karishma getting in those details
07:59Also, Aishwarya continues to be with us
08:01And our colleague from Business Today, Magazine Surbi
08:04Is also with us
08:06Coming back to you all in a moment
08:08Be with us, telling our viewers about what's happened
08:10It's India's friend delivering a feisty punch
08:13With new tariffs
08:14President Donald Trump has imposed 25% tariffs
08:17On India ahead of the 1st of August deadline
08:20Union Minister Piyush Gowal will be speaking
08:23In fact, he's spoken in Lok Sabha already
08:25And also in Raj Sabha
08:27The government has spoken about this matter
08:29Addressing the concerns
08:30But has been rather cautious and guarded in their response
08:33In the very latest
08:35Trump has criticized the economies of India
08:37And Russia clubbing them together
08:39Saying both nations have dead economies
08:41Quote-unquote
08:42He added that he doesn't care about their relationship
08:45And remarked
08:46They can put down their dead economies together
08:49This statement came shortly
08:51After he announced an additional penalty
08:53On India
08:54For purchasing weapons and oil from Russia
08:58And with all of this
08:59The US has imposed sanctions
09:01On seven Indian companies
09:02For trading with Iran
09:04India so far has struck a measured tone
09:07Saying the government is studying the implications
09:09And remains committed to achieving a fair
09:11And mutually beneficial trade agreement
09:14Prime Minister Modi is a friend of mine
09:17But they don't do very much business
09:20In terms of business with us
09:21They sell a lot to us
09:23But we don't buy from them
09:25You know why?
09:25Because the tariff is so high
09:27They have one of the highest tariffs in the world
09:28Now they're willing to cut it very substantially
09:31But we'll see what happens
09:32We're talking to India now
09:33We'll see what happens
09:34It doesn't matter too much
09:36Whether we have a deal
09:37Or whether we charge them a certain tariff
09:39On the tariffs on India
09:40Are you still open to negotiate with India
09:43On the tariff front?
09:44Well we're talking to him now
09:45We'll see what happens
09:46Again
09:47India was the highest
09:48Or just about the highest
09:50Tariff nation in the world
09:51One of the highest
09:53100 points
09:56150
09:57Points
09:58Or percentages
09:59So India was one of the highest in the world
10:02They had won 175%
10:06And higher than that
10:09You know who's another higher one
10:11Is Canada
10:11Canada has
10:12They've been charging our farmers
10:14200%, 300%, 400%
10:17For years
10:17And nobody did anything about it
10:19But India is one of the highest
10:21So we're going to see
10:22We're negotiating with India right now
10:23I do believe the American stand
10:25Has not been totally reasonable
10:27And I believe our stand
10:29We can possibly show some flexibility
10:33But there is a limit to how much flexibility we can show
10:35Everything depends on the ongoing negotiations
10:38I wish our negotiators good luck
10:40And good courage
10:41Because we can't afford to buckle under
10:43We have to keep our national interests
10:45As number one in our minds
10:47Well India has been very guarded
10:51And very cautious
10:52And measured in its response
10:53But at the end of the day
10:54There would be an impact
10:56On the Indian economy as well
10:57And how will that really be
10:59Let's take a look in fact
11:00And give our viewers an idea
11:01About how this is going to be
11:03Impacting the Indian economy
11:04If at all
11:05Trump's bullying
11:07In fact translates into real action
11:09And we indeed have to deal with
11:1125% plus tariffs
11:14Which also includes penalties
11:15As has been spelled out clearly
11:17By Donald Trump
11:18Let's take a look
11:19At the kind of impact on India
11:2014 billion dollar worth of electronics
11:23Exports at the risk essentially
11:25Major chunk of India's electronics exports
11:28Are vulnerable to US tariffs
11:30And that's something
11:31That India needs to watch out for
11:33What about gem and jewelry exports
11:359 billion dollar worth
11:37And this could India
11:38In fact take a hit in the country
11:40High value luxury exports
11:43Are among the worst impacted sectors
11:45When it comes to the imposition of this tariff
11:47Plus the penalty
11:49Tariff hike is going to
11:50If at all it materializes
11:52Will be raising entry barriers
11:54Indian exporters face
11:56Higher costs
11:57And reduced competitiveness
11:58The other key sectors hit
12:00Like I said
12:01Electronics, jewelry
12:02Pharmaceutical, chemicals
12:04And auto components
12:06This of course
12:07Is through various news reports
12:09And GTRI
12:10Is the information with us
12:12Something
12:12So Ravid that we cannot ignore
12:14At this point in time
12:15India has said
12:16That we are Atmanirwar
12:17And the response has been measured
12:19Indicating that there is no reason
12:21To panic and worry
12:22At this point in time
12:24Because the negotiations
12:25Are underway
12:26But if 25% plus tariffs
12:28Were to come into effect
12:29There would be
12:31Huge problems
12:32When it comes to the cost
12:33Or the various goods
12:34And the various sectors
12:36That we listed out
12:37Would be impacted
12:38Survee
12:38Hi
12:41So yes
12:42There will be some impact
12:44On how the economy goes
12:45But while we have been
12:47Talking to the government
12:48And analysts
12:48They are saying
12:49That you know
12:49The GDP growth
12:50Is unlikely to see a big hit
12:52Because we must remember
12:53That a lot of India's growth
12:55Is through domestic consumption
12:57And exports continue
12:58To be just a small part
13:00And engine of growth
13:01So if you look
13:02At the numbers per se
13:04While the US
13:05Is India's largest
13:07Exporting partner
13:08And we have bilateral trade
13:09Of about 190 billion dollars
13:11Total exports
13:12To the US
13:13Amount to just about
13:14You know
13:142% of India's GDP
13:17Which is still
13:18A very small amount
13:19So when we talk
13:21To the government
13:21Or when we talk
13:23To analysts
13:23They are saying
13:24It is still too early
13:25To worry
13:25We are all looking
13:26At the possibility
13:27Of a deal
13:28Still taking place
13:29And even if there is
13:31Some impact
13:31On exports
13:32Or on GDP growth
13:33It would be in the range
13:35Of 10 to 30 basis points
13:36Compared to
13:38You know
13:38The growth
13:39Projections
13:41Are anywhere in the range
13:42Of 6.2 to 6.5%
13:44For this fiscal
13:45And we don't see
13:46A major strike
13:47Happening on it
13:48Due to the higher tariffs
13:49Right be with us
13:52I'm going to come back
13:53To you in a moment
13:53From now
13:54To tell our viewers
13:54A little about
13:55Our exports
13:57And imports
13:57And the way
13:58We deal with
13:58The United States
14:00On a daily basis
14:01Pretty much
14:01And these are figures
14:02From 2024
14:03Let's tell our viewers
14:05A little about
14:06What India exports
14:08To US really are
14:09Medicines
14:10Telecom
14:11Gems and jewellery
14:13Petro products
14:15Gold and jewellery
14:16And also textiles
14:18Iron and steel
14:20As well
14:21Let's also tell you
14:23A little about
14:23Imports
14:24From the US
14:25And this is again
14:26Like I said
14:27Data
14:27From 2024
14:28Crude oil
14:30Petrochemical products
14:32Coal
14:33Coke
14:34Diamonds
14:35Electric
14:36Electronic goods
14:37Essentially
14:37Aircraft
14:39Spares
14:39And of course
14:40Like I said
14:41Gold
14:41At the very outset
14:42And there would be
14:43Fair amount
14:44Of impact
14:45As far as
14:46The trade dealings
14:47Are concerned
14:48Karishma also
14:49Continues
14:49To be with us
14:50Karishma also
14:51Explained to us
14:52The other component
14:53That Donald Trump
14:54Had mentioned
14:55In his rather
14:56You know
14:57Emotive
14:57Sort of a pose
14:58That he had put out
14:59Talking about penalties
15:01What are these penalties
15:02That he's really referring to
15:03At this point in time
15:04We really need to wait
15:07For the fine print
15:08In order to analyse
15:09What these penalties are
15:11But
15:11On the surface
15:13What we understand
15:14Is these penalties
15:15Are going to be
15:16On India
15:17Having
15:17Importing
15:19Energy
15:20That is oil
15:20From Russia
15:21And also
15:22The military equipment
15:23Now
15:25Let's not forget
15:26That in the past
15:27Few years
15:27Our dependence
15:28On Russia
15:29Has increased
15:30And this is also
15:30Because of the
15:31Discounted
15:32Fruit oil price
15:33That we get
15:33From Russia
15:35And while
15:35This issue
15:37Was also
15:38Under discussions
15:39About
15:39A year or two
15:41Back
15:41When the prices
15:42Were shooting high
15:43And we were
15:44Trying to discover
15:46Alternate sources
15:46Alternate ways
15:48Of sourcing oil
15:49Back to India
15:50We stayed
15:51Back with a
15:51Discounted price
15:52From Russia
15:54And currently
15:54If we see
15:55At the percentage
15:56We are importing
15:56Close to about
15:5745%
15:58Of crude oil
15:59From Russia
16:01Trump's comments
16:03Come in
16:04In a way
16:05Of the current
16:05Geopolitics
16:06Existing
16:07Conflict
16:08Existing
16:09Between Russia
16:10And Ukraine
16:10And I think
16:11Via this strategy
16:13He is asking
16:14India to pick
16:15A clear side
16:16And there is
16:18A thin line
16:18Between asking
16:20Us to do this
16:22And pressurizing
16:22Us to do this
16:23And clearly
16:24He is doing
16:24The latter with us
16:25Where he is
16:26Trying to hurt
16:27Our fiscal
16:30And economic
16:31Situation
16:32By these
16:33Indirect methods
16:34Of our relationship
16:35With Russia
16:36And Iran
16:37Be with us
16:43Karishma
16:44Getting in
16:44Those details
16:45And once again
16:46Taking our viewers
16:46Through what
16:48Are dealings
16:48With the USA
16:49And this has
16:50Got both to do
16:50With what we are
16:51Buying from them
16:52And what we are
16:53Selling to them
16:54These are details
16:55Of Indian exports
16:56In billion dollars
16:57Take a look at
16:57These figures
16:58From 2024
16:59Medicines
17:00At 8.1 billion
17:02Telecom
17:03At 6.5 billion
17:04Gems and jewellery
17:06At 5.3
17:07Billion
17:08Petrochemical
17:08Products
17:09At 4.1
17:10Billion
17:10Gold and jewellery
17:12At 3.2
17:13Textiles
17:14At 2.8
17:15Iron and steel
17:16At 2.7
17:18Billion
17:18Dollars
17:19A look now
17:20At India's
17:21Imports
17:22From the US
17:23Again figures
17:24Are from 2024
17:25Fruit oil
17:26At 4.5
17:27Billion
17:27Petrochemicals
17:29At 3.6
17:31Billion
17:31Coal
17:32Coke
17:32At 3.4
17:33Billion
17:33Diamonds
17:34At 2.6
17:35Billion
17:36Electronic
17:37Goods
17:37At 1.4
17:38Billion
17:39Aircraft
17:39Spares
17:39At 1.3
17:40And gold
17:41At 1.3
17:42Billion
17:43Dollars
17:4325%
17:46Tariff
17:47And an
17:47Added
17:47Penalty
17:48President
17:49Trump's
17:49Move
17:50Has rattled
17:51Indian
17:51Exporters
17:52But is this
17:53Just a
17:53Trade war
17:54Or just
17:54A Trump
17:55Style
17:55Tactic
17:56Here's a
17:57Look at
17:57The sectors
17:57That are
17:58All under
17:59Pressure
17:59But with
18:00Talks
18:00Still underway
18:01The full
18:02Story
18:02Really is
18:03Far
18:04From
18:04Over
18:04Here's
18:05More
18:05Is this
18:12Just a
18:13Tariff
18:13Or a
18:14Trump
18:14Tactic

34:24Criticizing the government's policies, the opposition's right and responsibility,
34:29but by throwing India's economy under the bus, has Rahul Gandhi crossed the line?
34:35With Piyush Mishra and Aishwarya Paliwal, Bureau Report, India Today.
34:54The Congress Party themselves saying that this isn't a dead economy and that's a statement
34:58that we don't stand with the American president on.
35:03In fact, the Indian economy is growing and we are with a country on that, isn't it?
35:08Piyush.

35:24We'll try and connect with Piyush in a moment from now.
35:27Apologize for that.
35:28But we were trying to get in a word from our reporter who's been tracking that big story
35:32in parliament.
35:32Remember, came in a reaction from Rahul Gandhi when he was actually asked about the Malinga
35:37of last and the verdict.
35:39But instead, he decided to focus on speaking about the Indian economy and President Donald
35:43Trump's statement from last evening, wherein he had criticized India and spoken about us
35:49being a failed economy.
35:51Rahul Gandhi reiterated that, essentially.
35:54However, members from his own political party, the Congress, have said India's economy is not
35:59dead.
35:59Far from it.
36:00And also, other members of the India blog reiterated the same, saying that this is a
36:06false statement that has been made by the U.S. President in calling India's economy
36:12failed.
36:13They've criticized the Modi government for failure in what they say, diplomacy, failure in
36:18diplomacy, and that these talks of friendship between the Prime Minister and President Donald
36:23Trump are just an eyewash, is what the opposition has been insinuating.
36:28However, to say that India's economy has failed is far from the truth, is what the opposition
36:34has also said.
36:35However, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, in Lok Sabha, has said it's the truth, and that
36:41he's glad he went on to say that U.S. President Donald Trump has spoken the truth.
36:48This is politics which is brewing over this matter, with very harsh statement being made
36:54by U.S. President Donald Trump, went on to, in fact, speak about Russia at the same time,
37:00spoken about the fact that India is a friend, but we are doing little business, given that
37:05our tariffs are extremely high.
37:08He also went on to say that India's economy, along with Russia's, are dead, for all he cares,
37:16is what he reiterated.
37:22Relentless rains have battered most parts of India over the last few days, as per the Indian
37:27Med Department.
37:28Heavy rains are expected to continue.
37:31In September, rainfall is likely to be above normal over the country during the second half
37:36of the southwest mountain season.
37:38rains have brought respite, though, to the Delhi NCR region, recording the cleanest air in the month
37:44of July in an entire decade.
37:47But traditionally, wettest regions are grappling with rainfall deficits.
37:51Rainfall distribution so far, in 2025, has shown disparities across different states,
37:57creating both concerns and optimism depending on the region.
38:01Dramatically, this year, the rainfall pattern has been notably uneven, with significant deficits
38:07reported in many regions, especially in the northeastern states, traditionally known for
38:12heavy monsoon showers.
38:14Dramatically, this year, the rainfall pattern has been in the northeastern states, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se.
38:25And that the upward channel has been in the south, which is very high-wild.
38:37And so far, it takes the wind.
38:39The rain has been here, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se, as per se.

40:36But now the water is so strong that the team has not been able to reach those people who have been there.
40:43And in such a way, the wait is going to be long and the rest of these people is going to be breaking down.
40:51I'm Ravishpaal Singh from the Shihupuri border.
40:56Alright, in telling you a little about what's happening in the Jammu and Kashmir region
41:00where the Amarnath Yatra has been suspended as heavy rain lashes this entire region.
41:04We've been telling you about various parts of the country.
41:07The pictures on your screen are from Shihupuri in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
41:11There have been rainfalls which are in fact in excess in states like Meghala, for example.
41:16In the northeastern part of the country, usually receiving more rainfall
41:19and considered the rainiest part really of the world has seen a deficit in monsoons.
41:25As far as rains and the weather is concerned, good news for all of us in the Delhi and CR region
41:30given that the air quality index has also improved significantly.
41:33So much so that we've never had clean air as this, I beg your pardon, in the last one decade or so.
41:41Meer Farid is joining us for more details.
41:44He is in Srinagar and the Amarnath Yatra, of course, has been suspended there
41:49because of the rains in Jammu and Kashmir.
41:52It's a big concern.
41:53Talk to us about the kind of arrangements, alternate arrangements that have been made for the Yatris
41:57and how this has really played spoiled sport this time around.
42:01Meer.
42:04Well, yes.
42:06In fact, on 3rd of July, the Yatra started and the numbers were very good for the first 10 days
42:12because the weather was fine.
42:13It was favourable.
42:15Previous years, we've seen because of bad weather and rains, landslides and other issues,
42:20Yatra used to get suspended.
42:21But this year, the first part was good, but off late, last one week, has seen intermittent,
42:28very heavy rains.
42:29And this has also lashed to the Yatra route, speed, Baltal or Pehlgaam.
42:33And then yesterday, Yatra had to be suspended.
42:36Now, today as well, from the Baltal route, the Yatra was allowed.
42:40But from the Pehlgaam route, it remains suspended because of bad weather, which the rain, which
42:45has led to track getting damaged and the repair work has been undertaken.
42:52Overall, it has been a year of extreme weather variations.
42:56If we talk about Kashmir, we saw unprecedented heat for a long stretch in June.
43:03And then suddenly the weather took a turn.
43:05And since it's been raining.
43:06So while the experts say that this is being attributed to global warming, climate change
43:11phenomena, which is affecting places across the world, and Kashmir, North India has also
43:16seen it, we're seeing heavy rains in between spills of very hot weather and then again rain.
43:21So this is what the May Department has predicted.
43:24And for the next at least three to four days, the weather is going to remain erratic.
43:28And this is not only for Jaman, Kashmir, but also for Himachal, Delhi.
43:32In fact, also Uttarakhand, hili areas of Uttarakhand.
43:35So this is the weather advisory.
43:37And that may, and gusty winds and windstorms may also be accompanied by heavy rain.
43:44So that is what the May Department is saying.
43:46And people living in mountainous bales in areas which are hilly have been told to exercise
43:53caution, adhere to weather advisories because there could be flash flooding and also mudslides
43:59and landslides.
44:00Leaving it there for the moment, we're getting asked those details and telling us about the
44:04situation there.
44:05Meanwhile, pictures, in fact, we put out just a few moments ago are from different parts
44:10of the country which are reeling under heavy rains.
44:13And of course, civic mess is the story that always really follows.
44:16Moving on, much of the Pacific world, including Siberian Russia and the west coast of Russia,
44:22continues to be on tenterhooks after yesterday's monster earthquake measuring 8.8 on the
44:28Richter scale.
44:29Parts of the North Pacific were rattled by powerful aftershocks on Thursday, a day after
44:34one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded struck.
44:38Come Chhatka cry off the coast of Russia.
44:41Dozens of aftershocks have been recorded since Wednesday's quake.
44:45Five were notably strong, registering a magnitude above six.
44:49Most were recorded off Russia's far east.
44:51The strongest is a 6.9 magnitude earthquake.
44:55It struck the Kamchatka Peninsula late last night.
44:59Yesterday's earthquake among the strongest ever had triggered tsunami alerts all across
45:03the ring of fire.
45:05The entire region, Russia, Hawaii, Japan and the American western coast states of Oregon,
45:11California, Washington, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Chile, Peru, had all issued alerts
45:18of varying degrees.
45:19That's the ring of fire you have on your screens at this point in time.
