Le Court becomes first African woman to win Tour de France stage

"It's really been a dream start to the Tour. The stage win, the yellow jersey," Le Court said, "I wasn't even thinking about it when we started in Brittany".

00:01Mauritian cycling star Kim Lecourt-Pinard
00:04as she became the first African stage winner at the Tour de France Femmes.
00:08The 29-year-old sat up to celebrate before crossing the finishing line.
00:12A late push on Wednesday helped her reclaim the yellow jersey on Stage 5's 166km ride,
00:19the longest in this year's edition of the race.
00:22Yeah, amazing. We had the plan to try and take it back today.
00:27The team rode amazingly. The plan was to just take the bony sprints
00:32and then if it finishes in a small group try and take the stage victory
00:37and it worked out really well. I don't think it would have been possible without the team work,
00:40without Sarah at the end. It really was amazing.
00:44And now we have a second Simba, so super happy.
00:52Racing for the first time in the competition,
00:54her stage win and bonus seconds take her back into the lead.
00:58The Tour de France Femmes ends on Sunday.
