Insiders reveal the truth behind Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s budding romance, father-to-be Pete Davidson praises Machine Gun Kelly for being the “best dad ever,” Deion Sanders and Karrueche Tran spark dating rumors, and Beyoncé brings her Cowboy Carter tour to an epic end by reuniting Destiny’s Child
00:00Hey, it's People in 10. Every new dad needs someone to show him the ropes. Thankfully,
00:08Pete Davidson has MGK, who he calls the best dad ever. He pointed to how his buddy flies
00:13back and forth to make sure he never misses his daughter's volleyball games. Pete says
00:17it's a beautiful thing to see, and watching that makes him excited to be a dad too. He
00:22and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, announced they were expecting on July 16th the pact
00:26on the PDA this week at their first red carpet appearance since the big news, where the mama
00:31to be showed up her gorgeous and growing bump. While Pete's expanding his family, Pamela Anderson
00:37and Liam Neeson are celebrating with theirs. The Naked Gun co-stars brought their sons to
00:41the New York City premiere. Cute. And it's been pretty clear, these two are more than co-stars.
00:46Exhibit A, this appearance.
00:49They also got cozy at the movie's UK premiere. So, is it budding chemistry or budding romance?
01:02Our sources say the latter. Everyone's also talking about Deion
01:07Sanders and Karrueche Tran after she was spotted getting emotional in a new series documenting
01:12the football coach's recovery from bladder cancer. She was also seen holding his hand
01:26after the procedure. So, this potential hard launch comes after Deion split in December
01:31from his fiance Tracy Edmonds. And remember, Karrueche was linked to Chris Brown from 2011
01:36to 2015. But these days, we're just glad coach is doing okay. By now, you've probably already
01:43seen the paparazzi pics of the Devil Wears Prada sequel being filmed in New York City. But
01:48I just read an opinion piece about it that made a lot of good points. Let's talk it through.
01:54Hey, Mako, what's up? Hey, Alex. Okay, did you see this British Vogue article? It basically
01:59said that the paparazzi is ruining movies for us. What do you think? Okay, so I did see the British
02:04Vogue article. And my two cents is that the people who think that those pap pictures are
02:09ruining movies for us might just be on the internet a little too much. And I say that as
02:13someone who's on the internet a lot. That is shady. But you know what? You're right. But I feel like
02:18the paparazzi, the pictures give so much away. Say, like, take the example of the Devil Wears Prada
02:22the sequel. We're already seeing Andy and Miranda together again. Like, should we know that only when
02:29the movie comes out? Okay, so let me play devil's advocate, pun intended, for a minute here.
02:33We already knew Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep were coming back for this movie when the casting
02:37was announced, right? So we were expecting to see them together. There's going to be so much
02:41that's going to happen that we're not going to know until we do sit down to the movie.
02:44Okay, right. But this article has me thinking about some of the other films and TV shows that
02:50the paparazzi has pulled for us. Like, take, for example, Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothy Chalamet
02:54kissing in Marty Supreme. Okay, we did see them kissing already. I will give you that. However,
02:59think about this. And just like that season one was filming, we saw pictures of Carrie and Mr. Big
03:04and then they killed him off in the first episode, right? We didn't see that coming. I'm a big fan
03:08of Law & Order SVU. They're always filming outside of New York City. I sit down to watch the show. I
03:13never know what the plot points are. You're not wrong, but we're going to have to agree to
03:17disagree. Well, I'll talk to you later. Sounds good. Talk to you later. Bye.
03:20Be honest. Who else couldn't get it together when they saw these three on stage together again?
03:26I don't think you ready for this jelly. Y'all, I was too hyped. So Beyonce brought the house down
03:31as usual for her last Cowboy Carter show. But what happens in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas this time
03:37because when she brought out Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, yeah, fans around the world went wild.
03:44We have Taylor Swift baby news to report. Only it's not her baby. It's actually a couple whose fans of
03:50Taylor and Travis. They had a baby together. And when it came time to pick a name, there was only
03:54one option, Kelsey Taylor. It just makes sense. And her announcement pick, little Kelsey is already
04:00rocking her Chief's yellow next to a Jersey she'll grow into eventually. The sister of one of the
04:06University of Idaho victims went totally viral last week with her powerful victim impact statement
04:12during Brian Koberger's sentencing. I was fueled by seeing the rage on his face. Olivia said
04:19afterwards she actually memorized her speech so she could keep full eye contact with him.
04:23Man, was he mad. That was obviously a big point of why I did what I did to make him feel small
04:32because he is. And she did not hold back, even telling Koberger that if Kaylee hadn't been sleeping,
04:37she would have kicked his bleeping ass. I was prepared to be arrested that day.
04:42I think that every single one of us were. That's bravery, people. Props to you, girl.
04:49Celebrating life and all its milestones is so important. And Khloe Kardashian might have gone
04:53a little overboard for her son's third birthday.
04:56Happy birthday to you!
05:01Tatum loved his Mickey Mouse-themed bash.
05:04Yay! He's so happy.
05:06He got to party with all his favorites. And there wasn't just one cake. There were two.
05:12That one was for Tristan's brother, Amari, who turned 19 the day before.
05:15The food looked amazing. The decor was on point.
05:19And the extra fun details? That's one lucky little boy.
05:23And Zach Shepard goes big, too. At least when it comes to his hot takes.
05:27We've all heard about his and Kristen Bell's free-range parenting style,
05:31where they give their 10 and 12-year-old daughters lots of autonomy.
05:34And apparently, that includes cursing, but only in very specific situations.
05:39They are allowed to swear, not with impunity, but when it's called for,
05:45and they land it, and it's in the house and not out at a restaurant.
05:48Dax admits he fully swears in front of his kids and stands by his decision to let them do the same.
05:53My defense of it is like, I just told the girls, like, hey, these are noises that come out of your
05:59mouth and you assign what they mean to you.
06:01His guest, Seth Meyers, had a more conservative take.
06:05He says swearing is a no-go in his household.
06:09Now it's a sit-down with Dave Franco and Alison Breen.
06:12Hey, you two.
06:12Hi.
06:14Everyone is talking about your new movie, Together.
06:16What an interesting way to delve into relationships and what it means to be close.
06:20You've worked together before, but this is physically different.
06:24When you first told people about this project and its subject matter,
06:27what was the general reaction?
06:28This is the fifth time we've worked together.
06:30Yeah, it's just like felt like we keep upping the ante, and I don't know how we will top
06:35this one in terms of the insanity of it all, but no, I think everyone in our lives recognizes
06:42how well we work together, how much we like working together.
06:46Ultimately, it's said more about their relationships.
06:48Exactly.
06:49They're projecting something onto us because they're thinking about how difficult it would be to work
06:53with their own partner, and we're like, don't put that on us.
06:55We love this.
06:58Do either of you have a favorite horror trope you were dying to play out?
07:01I don't know if there was like a trope that I was seeking out, but in the moments when during
07:08the Saw scene, when we're screaming our lungs out and having a classic horror scream, that was fun.
07:19I definitely cut my bangs to emulate Shelley Duvall in The Shining.
07:24That is such an iconic performance.
07:26It's un-glamorous, you know?
07:30It's off-putting in some ways that feel very real.
07:33Like when you're scared, when you're terrified, you're not like, my voice sounds perfect and not
07:38annoying.
07:39So I feel like that sort of super vulnerable final girl trope was something I was mixing in a little.
07:46Are either of you into astrology?
07:48I feel like looking up other active signs could help work with them as closely as you two have to.
07:53No?
07:53Here's what I will tell you about my relationship with astrology and with Dave.
07:58I'm a Capricorn, and when I was dating in my 20s, I had this book that would match up every pairing.
08:06When Dave and I met, I flipped to the Capricorn Gemini page, and it said like, run for the hills.
08:13You are not a match.
08:14And I threw the book in the garbage.
08:17Oh, wow.
08:18I don't know if I knew that story.
08:20Congrats on the Emmy nomination for the studio, Dave.
08:25In your wildest dreams, did you ever think you'd be competing in a category against Ron Howard and Martin Scorsese?
08:30I always saw that coming.
08:36No, it's insane.
08:38And the truth of it all is I truly did not think this nomination was even a possibility.
08:47I remember when they first sent me all of the episodes, I started watching through it, and I was like, oh, no.
08:55This is my favorite show, and I'm about to come in and ruin it.
08:59We also didn't know when the nominations were being announced, and so we were in our kitchen, and I got a text from my publicist, and it just said Emmy nomination.
09:10And I go, oh, my God.
09:12And I'm like listening to a podcast like, what's going on?
09:15And I was like, I think I just got nominated for an Emmy, and I had to Google it.
09:20I didn't believe it.
09:21They are not a micro-dose.
09:24Let's talk about your dream blunt rotation.
09:26Studio stars, cameos only.
09:28I mean, we probably should throw Scorsese in there, because why wouldn't we?
09:32Definitely.
09:33I mean, also Ron Howard for the same reason.
09:35Okay, great.
09:38I mean, might as well just go with my whole category of the people I'm nominated with.
09:42Let's throw in Bryan Cranston.
09:43That's a great trio right there.
09:45Yes, that's great.
09:48Okay, we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
09:50Tell everyone why Together is a must-see.
09:52This is a movie that is truly for everyone.
09:55You will be shocked and surprised, and you'll have a great time.
10:00Dave and Allison, thank you so much for being here today.
