00:32Picked off that centering pass right in the paint. Now here goes Brock Nelson into the Penguins zone.

00:42The Penguins with a chance to get the first goal here on home ice against the Islanders.

00:46Straight navigates his way down low. Crews it in front and it's right to the glove.

00:50Kosang is 21. Here goes Bavillier up the right wing. Number 72 into the Penguins zone.

00:56And he shoots the puck and Fleury patiently stood up to make the save. Nick Letty drops it off.

04:55And the attempt to center by Hosang was blocked.

05:14And over the line comes Gauntz.

06:34And those are two gigantic points for the New York Islanders.

06:38It ties them with Boston for that second wildcard position.

06:41And guess who they play tomorrow in Brooklyn?

06:43The Boston Bruins.

06:44So the Islanders give it everything they have to earn that extra point.
