01:04now as the puck squirts free behind the net backhand try by Gensel he almost had

01:13cold on his shot blubbed he didn't miss that one on Ante Ranta as he snared it

01:39Gensel you go to the net with your stick on the ice and you're gonna get fed there's the

01:45redirect the rebound the misplay and wow Johnny on the spot 2-0 Gensel

01:53and that's blocked away and the Rangers quickly counter but the Penguins jump all over him they

02:01don't get it out here's an opportunity for Shiri stuck by Ranta with a right pad remember that save

02:06because that would have made it 3-0 that's a huge save by Ante Ranta there on Connor Shiri

02:11and yeah you're right Steggy that's a big save by Ranta really focused in on that to make the save

02:15on Shiri this game could have been out of hand right then and there Miller came striding out of his

02:20own zone with control of the puck throws it back to the net save made and another big one up here

02:24by Fleury right before the horn that would have been a goal

02:27four men strong to center the Penguins getting people back too as it's dumped in by Vesey

02:35he can fly and he tried to wrap one into an empty net with Fleury out of playing the puck

02:39and he creates some havoc against Stahl centering pass Gensel with another great

02:44chance and a big save by Ante Ranta well he could have five goals by now we're looking for the hat

02:49trick is Gensel in this game got caught up on the near wall Cole fell down Nash has it trying to center

02:55Schultz went down and they score Schultz went down on the play to block the pass and Rick Nash pounced on

03:01the loose puck and buried it to make it two to one that's exactly what happened and it looked like

03:05Nash was trying to make a pass pass was blocked came right back to Nash he elevated the rebound

03:11that's a one-shot game and they have the second ranked power play on the road and here's a chance

03:15now a quick shot off the crossbar Crosby he had Hagelin on the left wing and he kind of made it look like

03:20he was gonna pass it then fired it just put it off the iron to get the puck free to Shiri who finds Malkin

03:26Malkin back to the right side of Schultz a shot kicked out by Ranta another big save

03:32the chance now for McDonough a shot kicked out by Fleury rebound great save with a right pad on Veazey

03:38pinballs around shot stopped and the rebound comes right back out to Grabner and a backhand shot and

03:45he scores Michael Grabner gets his yearly goal against the Penguins I guess you could say

03:50he has nine goals at 26 games against the Penguins that gives him 12 on the year and it ties the game

03:56at two you know really incredible the season he is having right now they're gonna try the Penguins

04:01shorthanded here Hayes with it Miller goes to the net and the pass was right past Miller

04:05how did it go in off that was crazy the pass was intended for Miller it never got to him but it went off

04:13a skate into the goal and the Rangers get a lucky bounce and a 3-2 lead wow

04:17here's Kreider with it back to the net walk it away by Fleury to the new side and lifted by the Penguins

04:25back out to neutral ice picked up there by Kessel ahead to Malkin Malkin steaming in cutting in moving

04:31and stripped of the puck as he wanted to turn it over to the forehand indeed nice reception to the pass by

04:36Cullen walks out on the backhand turns to the forehand it comes in front and then rushed over skates backhand

04:41track cutting through the slot for Cullen that was stopped and now Ranta finally freezes the puck jamming away

04:46Ranta with the paddle down Sidney Crosby in there trying to get a stick on a puck penguins

04:52are doing all they can to jam one in and get the tying goal on the board here now the penguins

04:59have dumped the puck in on the tank gets in after his own shoot it does a good job in front of Gensel

05:03in the pass in his right skate he couldn't shoot it kind of open up create some offense look out

05:09Batch outlet pass and they score Hayes was in front and he may have touched it last but I don't think

05:16I think it might have gone off the stick of Dumoulin in front but the penguins turned it over on their

05:21attempt to get out of their own zone Hayes went to the front of the net and the Rangers score to make

05:27it four to two well McDonough stepped in front of a pass the penguins are trying to make plays through

05:32the middle it was Miller earlier this time McDonough and as the penguins are trying to get the puck up

05:38look at how he just glides backward with it and you could see that Dumoulin was trying to break up

05:43that pass across Gensel hustles to get to it over to the near side for Schultz Schultz shoots it and a

05:50save made by Ronta it was through traffic but he was able to see it Kessel with it shoots it and a save

05:55made in front of the block picked up by Sid in front to Cullen and he couldn't get it to the goal now

06:00another quick shot of a good save by Ronta on the doorstep as Phil Kessel let it go they're off to the best

06:07start in a franchise history believe it or not after so many poor starts look out puck rolling

06:11to the empty net and it goes in the Rangers have made it five to two and someone will get credit

06:16I don't even know who dumped it down the ice the puck went on edge and there was no way they were

06:21going to track it down so Marc-Andre Fleury is going to go back into the cage and the penguins down

06:25three Ronta making key saves after the penguins took the lead and then the Rangers getting their act

06:30together but goaltending and special teams the Rangers got that big shorthanded goal at the end of the

06:35second and they dominate the penguins in the third period to win it five to two and no doubt about

06:40it that was ranger hockey that's what we're going to see that's what the penguins are going to see

06:44two nights from now things won't be different they're going to need more shots though and they

06:48needed shots to start this third period they didn't get them they had a power play to start

06:52that third period and Ronta and the Rangers shut them down
