00:12mentioned 2016 last outing in the big leagues. He's been toiling in the independent leagues. He

00:18was a teammate of Gabe Kapler of Evan Longoria back in the Tampa days. At one time this guy

00:24had an electric left arm. They're hoping to catch lightning in a bottle today. Max Muncy hitting

00:29277. Eight home runs 23 runs batted in. Uh-oh. Rifle down the line towards the pole and a fair

00:38ball home run. Second splash hit homer for Muncy. And Max Muncy with a home run. His ninth and

00:46it's 1-0 Dodgers. You remember Muncy has had a few splash hits in San Francisco. Most

00:53notable that one against the former star of the Giants Madison Bumgarner. Muncy is

00:59probably thinking go get it out of the ocean. 26 year old Walker Buehler. 2-9-8 ERA after

01:05seven shutout innings on Monday against Arizona. Crawford went hitless last night. In fact he

01:10struck out three times and walked once. A little comebacker to Buehler. Plenty of time as he

01:15straightens up and lobs it over to Pujols at first base. Here is Walker Buehler. Foucher

01:21passed the mound. Hit very slowly. Racing in and to his right. It's picked up there by

01:25Dubon. He makes a spin pivot. The quick throw to first. In time. He got him and he got him by a

01:30couple of steps. So two down and here is Chris Taylor. The leadoff man who grounded out to

01:35Longoria. Now a swinging strike three. High fastball. Foul tipped actually into the glove

01:41of Buster Posey. Casimir's second strikeout. That's three pretty good innings for Scott

01:46Casimir. Buster Posey now who grounded into a double play in the first inning.

01:51Tocman away from second. The pitch. And he got Posey to put it in play. Slowly rolling it down to third.

01:56Justin Turner sends it across the infield to Albert Pujols. And that is the outside. Retired

02:15left. That's four in the books for Casimir. And he's been excellent. He's thrown a great game so far.

02:21And he's got a serious head of hair too. He rivaled Brandon Crawford right now. Giants trailing one

02:26nothing. Longoria at the plate with one out and one on. Chops one to third. Turner on a short hop. Goes

02:32to second one. Muncy to first. In time. A double play. And around the horn inning. Ending double play.

02:40That erases the bunt base hit of Brandon Belt. So a nice start to the play by Turner as he fielded the

02:46short hop and made the throw right across his body to Muncy. And Muncy getting it to Pujols in the nick of

02:54time. Double play. Ends the fourth. On to the fifth. So Scott Casimir. It looks like his finish. Harlan

03:00Garcia comes on to pitch. Casimir threw 55 pitches. That's right about where he was in

03:05his two games in AAA for the Giants. They've got to be thrilled with what they got from him

03:11today. Yeah he did a great job. I mean outside of one pitch and that was a change up to arguably

03:19the hottest hitter in the month of May. Max Muncy. He was he was great. I mean no mistakes.

03:25Pitch efficient. Navigated his way through the lineup. One away in a one nothing game

03:31here in the fifth. The hitter is Barnes. Austin Barnes still looking for his first home run

03:36of the year. Yanks one in the air. Left center field indeed. Dickerson back on it. He's got

03:41it. You spoke it into existence. Barnes first home run makes it two nothing. And Barnes he bangs

03:49it out of here. It's two nothing. The Barnes have been sitting on 200 average this month in May

03:57and puts a charge into it. I was just looking down here. I just saw a zero. And I'm like man

04:02Barnes he doesn't have a home run yet.

04:07This pitch is out over the plate.

04:10And to drive that thing in the left field seats.

04:12So the Dodgers up to nothing in a pair of solo home runs. And over the last three games all seven

04:20runs they've scored have come off homers.

04:22Muncy in second. Two gone. Tropiano to the plate with a 2-2.

04:31Got to do it for the Dodgers in the sixth.

04:34But the Giants offense that caught fire on their most recent road trip has just one run on five hits

04:39in the two games of this series.

04:41It'll be Duggar leading off the center fielder. Came in as part of a double switch last inning.

04:45Curve ball and it's rolled to the right side. Fair territory. Right along the line. Fielded by Pujols.

04:50He steps on the bag for the out.

04:59And in the shadow of the lights it is Matt Beatty there to make the catch.

05:09There's Muncy. And there's a 1-2-3-6. Then 11 pitches.
