00:13lions are going to be the better team during the regular season their total for the regular season

00:25know i still feel that they're on the ascent i know they lost their offensive coordinator this

00:29offseason but i just don't think that'll make much of an impact on it i still think it'll be a really

00:34good team but donny you know the defense really doesn't matter in the nfl until the end of the

00:39year and that's where detroit really struggled last year i wonder if they'll fix that this time

00:43around i truly believe like throughout the season last year craig because i'm a big philadelphia

00:47eagles fan but i was being honest like most of my wagers mid-season while the teams were healthy

00:51both the eagles and the lions was on the lines to win the nfc championship and get to the super bowl

00:56i thought they were the deepest team talent wise and then i started to figure detroit's going to

01:00get a home field advantage that's going to matter now they did have home field advantage but they

01:03were so banged up in the playoffs that when washington came in they couldn't defend anything

01:07anything at that point then the eagles of course won the nfc championship game over washington and did

01:11win the super bowl i am a little bit worried about detroit because the things that they did last year

01:15had a lot to do with ben johnson as the offensive coordinator super aggressive plays you can have the

01:21same playbook as you know craig it's just a matter of when to call those plays and the confidence in

01:25calling those plays that you do that during the game dan campbell certainly sets the tone there's

01:29no doubt about it they're going to be aggressive i just wonder if those creative play calls are still

01:33going to be there as we saw for the past couple years pound for pound the best play caller in the

01:37nfl to me it is ben johnson and he's gone i think that does make a difference but boy craig you're right

01:42the talent on that offense offensive line running back wide receiver tight end and quarterback

01:46it's what top one two in the league with the philadelphia eagles maybe
