00:00If you want to make your first AI agent but don't know where to start, this is the perfect
00:04video for you.
00:05Hi everyone!
00:06I'm Vishan Sharma and today I'll show you how to build an AI agent which will search
00:10the latest news about AI, will take that news and will turn it into a real script, will
00:15turn it into a LinkedIn post with text and image as well and it will email it to you
00:21every single day.
00:22So every day you'll get a real script for an Instagram reel to record and a LinkedIn
00:27post that you can just post right away and grow your personal brand.
00:31If you want to start creating content or if you just want to put some content out there,
00:36build your personal brand, this is the AI agent that you need to build in your workflow.
00:41If that sounds good, hit the like button and subscribe and watch this video till the very
00:44end.
00:45With me, I have make.com, that is the platform we'll be using to build our AI agent today.
00:51It is the best platform for non-tech people to build AI workflows and agents from scratch
00:59without knowing how to code.
01:01Let me show you how to get started.
01:02It is free for you to sign up so you can go ahead and login.
01:05Once you login, this is the interface you will see.
01:07Now every AI workflow is called as a scenario and every agent is called as a make AI agent.
01:13Now in make.com, agent has access to scenarios that it can execute on its own.
01:18So let's start by creating a new scenario.
01:21This will be our new AI workflow.
01:23So the first thing you need to figure out is when do you want to trigger it?
01:28Now we will later automate it.
01:29Let's say every morning, 11 AM, you want to analyze the most important tech news.
01:34You want to turn that news into real and LinkedIn post for you and get an email for that.
01:39But today I want to basically have a trigger that I can use to get this workflow started.
01:46So I will get a simple webhook.
01:48We'll get a custom webhook and we will create a new webhook right here.
01:52So I'll just call it, you know, content generator webhook and I will click on save.
02:03And this is the link that I now have.
02:05Now every time I will open this link, I will be able to trigger this workflow.
02:10That is essentially how this works.
02:11I'll click on save.
02:12And this is the first module that we've made in our scenario.
02:16Every scenario is built up of these little drag and drop sections or modules with which
02:22you'll be able to build the entire workflow.
02:24So this is the first one.
02:26Now, once we have triggered this workflow, the next step is to find the latest news in the
02:32space of AI.
02:33For example, you can have it for in the space of tech, finance, business, whatever it is,
02:38whatever you need, you can mention it in the prompt.
02:41So we will need to get news and the best AI tool to find news is perplexity.
02:47So I'm going to search perplexity right here.
02:49And as you can see, they have so many different apps that you can attach so many integrations,
02:54but we will go and do a create a chat completion in perplexity AI.
02:59So this is going to be our module, which will search the latest news in AI.
03:05So if you will see, we will need to have a connection.
03:07Now I've already connected it to my perplexity account.
03:10But the way it works is that you have to click on add and it will ask for an API key.
03:14And to get the API key, you just have to go to this link called perplexity.ai slash account
03:18slash API.
03:19When you will do that, you will come to your perplexity account.
03:23You'll have to create an API group.
03:25So I've just made a group called make.com, try perplexity for a make.com workflow.
03:30And once I have entered that, I can set up my billing.
03:34So I have already, you know, added $5 into it.
03:38And once you do that, then you can go on to API keys and generate your own API key right
03:42here.
03:43So this is what my API key is.
03:44I will blur it for this video and you can just click on create and you can keep using
03:50it.
03:51You can also view the usage metric over here, but you get the API key.
03:54You paste it over here and now you have a perplexity connection.
03:57Then you have a model.
03:58So I've selected sonar, which is their basic model, which searches for news.
04:03But you can also go for sonar pro reasoning, reasoning pro depending on what you want.
04:07I just want to keep it simple.
04:09Here is the most important part, which is the prompt that we will enter on perplexity.
04:12So this will be add item.
04:14This is the message.
04:15So the content and the role.
04:18So I'll set the role as the user.
04:20So I am the user and I'm giving it a prompt.
04:22Now this is the prompt that I have added.
04:25So it says find and analyze the most important AI tool or product that was launched in the last
04:29four to five days.
04:30Your goal is to summarize it in plain language based on reputable sources.
04:35Respond only in a valid JSON format like this.
04:38So we get title, which is the name of the tool or product.
04:40We get a detailed summary of what this tool does.
04:44And then the URL direct link to the best source article about it.
04:47So this is the information that we will get from this perplexity module.
04:51Rest all we can leave blank and click on save.
04:54So now we have a workflow which will search for the top AI news and will give us the top AI
04:58tool launched in the last few days.
05:00Now let's just save this and try to run this module right here and I will enter and hence
05:06trigger this workflow and it will now search for the most important news.
05:11And let's click on this magnifying glass and look at the output.
05:14So we get search results.
05:17So if I click on search results, I get the top news.
05:21So Gemini's AI big news, massive upgrades.
05:24Now we need to wrap this data around braces.
05:26So I'll just go for tools.
05:28I'll click on composer string and I'll basically add the search results right here.
05:36So that is going to be the content.
05:39We will now add a JSON parser.
05:43So I need three different outputs from this, which is going to be the title.
05:47It will be the summary and the URL.
05:51So I need to get that out from the output I got from perplexity.
05:57So I will basically have my data structure, which is basically looking like this.
06:02So you can see title, text, summary is also text and URL is also text.
06:08That is how it looks like we click on save and the JSON string that we will add is going
06:13to be the output from this tools module from the before one you click on save.
06:21And now we can add our next module.
06:23So so far we have three outputs from this particular workflow that are title summary and the URL
06:31for every headline.
06:33Now I will add the next module, which will be the Gemini module, which will create the real
06:38script and the LinkedIn post for us.
06:41So I'll go ahead and say Gemini and you will click on create a completion.
06:47So if you've never used something like make before, let me show you how to attach a AI chatbot
06:54with it.
06:55Right?
06:56So you have Gemini right here.
06:57I need to basically click on add to connect it to my Gemini account.
07:01And here I need to paste my API key.
07:04So basically I go to AI.studio and over here I'll click on get my API key and click on create
07:13an API key and then it will make an API key for me like I have below.
07:18So I can just copy this and I can add it here in my API key field and click on save.
07:23When I will do that, I will have a good to go connection for me.
07:26I already have one set up for me.
07:28Now in the AI model, I want to go with 2.5 flash.
07:32So Gemini 2.5 flash is the latest and the fastest model that we will go ahead with.
07:37Then we have the messages.
07:38This is again the important part where we'll enter the prompt.
07:41The role is going to be that of a user parts will have message type.
07:46It would be a text message.
07:47And here we will enter the prompt that we want the AI chatbot to take.
07:53So in this case, I want to add a massive prompt which includes information for how I want
07:58my reel to be like, for how my LinkedIn post to look like.
08:02And then I'll also give it the output I'm getting from my perplexity module.
08:07So this is what the prompt looks like.
08:09So I say act like a top tier content strategist, right?
08:12This is today's top AI news.
08:14So I give it title and this title is basically going to be from this.
08:21And then we will have the URL which will be from right here.
08:25And then we will take summary to be choices message content.
08:29So basically we are going into perplexity.
08:32We are going on to the choices.
08:34We are going on to the messages and the content.
08:37So this is basically the summary part of it.
08:40So if I will close this, I will see this as the main prompt.
08:45So I say write a 150 word Instagram reel script in the style of Vishan Sharma creator who explains
08:49tech and AI news in clear, casual, dramatic way that sounds natural in English.
08:55Then I say, follow this format, start with a bold hook, explain what is happening.
08:59And I have written down how I like to speak.
09:03And then I also have written the style in which I want my LinkedIn post to be like.
09:06So it says, summarizing the news, write in this format, start with bold, exciting, one
09:11liner that creates curiosity and then end with a question.
09:14So that's how it looks like.
09:16This is my long prompt.
09:17And then I have given it the format in which I want the output to look like.
09:22So return your output in a clean HTML format for email using the following structure.
09:27So you have the heading to tag, you have Instagram reel, then reel script here.
09:33Then you have LinkedIn post, LinkedIn caption here, and then you have the URL and the title
09:41over here.
09:42So the title is going to be right here and we are good to go.
09:46So what I'm doing here is basically I'm passing variables from the previous modules outputs.
09:51So the outputs of the previous module will become the inputs for my next module.
09:57So as you can see, I have entered the title, which I got from my JSON module and this choices
10:03message content as summary from my perplexity module right here.
10:08Now I can click on save and we are good to go.
10:11Now you can actually test it out.
10:12I'll click on save.
10:13I'll click on run once and I will again enter this link, hence triggering this entire workflow.
10:21It will search for the AI news for us.
10:23We got the latest AI news and now it is turning that into a real caption and LinkedIn post and
10:29it gave us an output.
10:31So I can click on this and I can see the first operation.
10:34I can go on to the result and this is what I got at the end of it.
10:39This is in HTML format so you can put it and you can get a very well scripted thing out.
10:45Okay now let's keep building.
10:46So we already have the script and the LinkedIn post.
10:48The next step is to get our image created and for image we need to do two things.
10:53I was thinking to make a image in which I am on the laptop and I have the most important
10:59text from the news written on my t-shirt and written on the laptop as well.
11:03So maybe that is the image I want to create.
11:05So I'll click on add another module.
11:07I'll want to have a Gemini and say create a completion.
11:12And just like we did before we will be using the 2.5 flash model.
11:17The message role would be user, the parts would be text and now we can enter the message that
11:23we want.
11:24And this is what the message will basically look like.
11:25So based on the following AI news return the single most important word that represents
11:30the main topic of the news.
11:31And we have the summary from the perplexity output that we got.
11:34So now I will click on save and I will add another module now which will actually create
11:39my image.
11:40So you can create your image using various different apps.
11:43I am using Gemini because I have the free API for that.
11:46You can do the same if you want to or if not you can use chat GPT API key.
11:51You can use any other app as well by simply having a HTTP module and sending a request
11:56for that app.
11:58So I'll click on create an image and for this case we would be using the image gen 3.0.
12:04So this is the latest image generation model.
12:07I can enter the image prompt.
12:08I will select allow adults and I'll keep the aspect ratio to be one is to one.
12:13In this case I wanted to be like a Lego styled image.
12:15So this is the prompt for it.
12:16Don't worry.
12:17I'll put all the prompts in the description of the video and you can take it from there
12:20if you want this exact version.
12:23Now this result is going to be from our latest model of Gemini which is the one word that
12:29we want to put on the t-shirt and then we can just click on save.
12:33So now we have a workflow which gives us an image, a real caption, a LinkedIn post caption
12:38and that is all.
12:39The next step is to send this to us on email.
12:42So let's add that and complete our agent right here.
12:46So I will basically search for Gmail and I'll click on send an email.
12:51Now for this also you will have to add a connection.
12:54So you'll have to login with your email ID with your Gmail ID to allow make to send emails
12:59on your behalf.
13:00So if you do that, you will basically have this connection like I do right here.
13:03I'll put this as my email address.
13:08Let's just say this is my email subject.
13:12I can say today's top AI news.
13:17I think I can take the result from the previous Gemini model and that could be the subject.
13:23Again as you can see it is completely variable.
13:24You can have variables from the previous modules that you can put into it and that looks very
13:30good to go.
13:31Then we have the content.
13:32Now this is where you will have the body of your email.
13:35So you need to specify what do you want the person to see at the end.
13:39Before that we can also add an attachment.
13:41So this is an attachment for the image that we have created.
13:44So we'll click on add an attachment and you can select Gemini AI create an image.
13:49So the output we get from it will be the attachment of this email.
13:53So that is good to go.
13:54Now we just need to sort out the body and this is what the body would look like.
13:58So today's AI content, I will basically put this, the result that you get from the Gemini
14:02module, which creates the LinkedIn post and caption and the script for us.
14:06And this is the image source.
14:09So I've set it as CID, which is content ID AI image.
14:15So basically we need to say AI image right here so that it is able to reference that.
14:20So we just basically naming that this image is called AI underscore image, AI underscore
14:26image.
14:27And then we are referencing it in our email itself.
14:31So it will basically be putting that image in line with the content.
14:35So once you do that, you can basically click on save and that's good to go.
14:40Let's run this.
14:41The webhook is triggered publicity is searching for the latest AI news.
14:45It sent the AI news to the Gemini module to make the real script and the LinkedIn post
14:50caption.
14:51We are figuring out the most important word from the news, which we can put in the image.
14:56And now we are creating an image itself.
14:59And now we are sending an email with the image attached to it.
15:04And this is what the output looks like.
15:06As you can see, we got the Instagram real script.
15:09We got the LinkedIn post again, this is in Hindi, we can always change that by tweaking
15:14the prompt.
15:15But this is the LinkedIn post that we got.
15:17And this is the image that we got, which we can attach to the LinkedIn post itself.
15:20Now again, I am sure you can tweak it.
15:23You can make it your own, whatever image you want.
15:25But this workflow is working for us.
15:27Just look at the real script.
15:28This is the amazing real script that you can actually record and make it live just by reading
15:49it out.
15:50We can create an AI agent by going on to make AI agents and clicking on create a new agent.
15:55Just name it content specialist.
15:56We can add the system tools.
15:58So this is basically a scenario that the agent has access to.
16:01So we'll click on plus and we can add this as our final content generator workflow.
16:07And we can click on add.
16:09And after that, we'll just mention what does this agent really do?
16:12I've just mentioned a very basic system prompt and we now have system tools as well.
16:16Now we can click on save.
16:18And this is our content specialist AI agent.
16:22Now how do we use this agent?
16:23So you basically go on to teams and let's say you want to create a new scenario here.
16:28You can now attach this agent into a scenario.
16:32So I can just mention agent.
16:35So make AI agent run an agent and we can select which agent we want to run and we can select
16:41which agent we want to run.
16:42So I'll click on content specialist and this has access to the scenario that is right here.
16:47I can click on save and then I can keep building on top of it.
16:51So let's say once it sends out all the email, I wanted to actually generate the image, generate
16:57the video for me as well.
16:58So now I have access to this one AI agent which I can keep running every 15 minutes or I can
17:04keep running whenever I wanted to run.
17:07And that is how you make an AI agent from scratch.
17:09Now the best part is you don't have to build these scenarios yourself all the time.
17:13You can take access of all of these public templates which are super super useful that
17:19you can simply attach it in your AI agent and keep it going.
17:22So save Gmail email to Google sheets as a new row.
17:26There are so many of them that you can just keep browsing and selecting and using for your
17:29own advantage.
17:31That is the best part about make templates.
17:33Now one last thing I want to show you about make is the grid feature in which you can view
17:38how all of the scenarios connect with each other and what services they use with each
17:43other.
17:44It's super handy if you're making multiple different scenarios.
17:46If you're connecting various services with other services and other tools and modules,
17:51you can view it all in just one place.
17:53And it's very great to explain it to someone who doesn't really know about how to make agents
17:58or how does make.com work.
18:00So they can have a very clear visual experience of what that would look like.
18:04That is all for me today.
18:06You just build your very first AI agent, pat yourself on the back, go make some more of
18:10your own, run it, use it to your advantage and become better every single day.
18:15The best thing to do in 2025 is to upskill with AI and use it in your life 24-7 as much
18:22as you can for whatever tasks that you have to execute on.
18:26That's it from me.
18:27I'll see you in the next video.
18:28Bye-bye.
18:36Bye-bye.
18:42Bye-bye.
18:44Bye-bye.
18:45Bye.
18:45Bye-bye.
18:50Bye-bye.
