00:22Kim added that while the relationship between her brother and Trump was not bad,
00:26using their ties to push for denuclearization would be a mockery.
00:31Kim, often seen as her brother's de facto second-in-command on inter-Korean affairs,
00:36has served as the public face of Pyongyang's diplomatic messaging.
00:40Her remarks followed a Yonhap News report quoting a U.S. official,
00:44saying Trump remains open to talks aimed at a fully denuclearized North Korea.
00:50Since returning to office in January,
00:52Trump, who met with Kim Jong-un three times in 2018 and 2019,
00:56has voiced interest in restarting dialogue.
