00:00There are five people that I talk to with a move this big.

00:04It's Rock, obviously it's Cody,

00:07Cena, Travis Scott, who we want to help build this idea around,

00:12and then WWE president, of course, Nick Khan.

00:15So my first call is to Nick,

00:17who's also a board member along with Rock.

00:19I run the idea by him.

00:21Nick basically says, love all of it.

00:24So my next reach out to that point is to Rock.

00:30I hit him with, what if?

00:32What if, hear me out on this?

00:34And he just listened, and every now and then through the conversation,

00:36he would go, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

00:39I wasn't sure if he was giving me the, mm-hmm, just get to the end

00:42so I can tell you how much I hate this or, right?

00:45And I got to the end, and he was like, wow.

00:49Man, I got to tell you, I think that's genius.

00:52Like, let's, you know.

00:54And he immediately started riffing thoughts and ideas, right?

00:57So we spent probably, like, another 30 minutes on the phone together

01:00talking about this, and the more we talked about it,

01:03the more we were both getting excited about it and, like, into it.

01:07My next conversation is with Travis Scott.

01:12I make sure Travis is comfortable with the creative.

01:15He loves it and says, let's do this.

01:18Somewhere near Cody hits me back.

01:24I get with Cody.

01:25When I hit him with it, he's like, like, holy shit,

01:28I didn't think that's what you were gonna say, blah, blah, blah.

01:30Wow, that's really cool.

01:33Then...

01:36I talked to John.

01:37John's the best with, like, he's like, well, before you say it,

01:40like, just know if this is what you believe in, I'm in.

01:43I said, John, okay, let's take the bullshit hat off.

01:47Now, this is not that a creative talking to you

01:51and, you know, you, the performer.

01:53I said, I am asking John Cena, the human being.

01:56Paul Levesque is talking to you.

01:58Give me your gut.

02:00This impacts John Cena, the real-life human being,

02:04and it impacts his movies, and it impacts his PR schedule,

02:07and it impacts everything.

02:09We're honest with each other.

02:10I said, give me your gut.

02:11You like it or you don't?

02:13And he was like, I like it a lot, actually.

02:16And when I hung up the phone with him,

02:19within a minute, minute and a half,

02:20I've gotten, like, three different texts from him

02:22of thoughts, ideas, and so I'm like, he's engaged.

02:27So once we get to that point now, it's a coordinated effort.

02:30Everybody is getting together.

02:31Rock's reaching out to Cody.

02:33Nick reaching out to Rock.

02:34Cody's reaching out to Cena.

02:35Cena's reaching out to everybody.

02:37So one of the things that we all talked about on the phone

02:40was let's keep this tight.

02:42Nobody gets this information that isn't on this phone call.
