00:00Well, I don't want to get involved in your politics.
00:20We got enough politics of our own.
00:23I will say that I predicted what was going to happen the last time.
00:27You remember, I was opening the first course over at Aberdeen and I was over here and at
00:36the same time and they asked me that question.
00:38I made a prediction.
00:39It was the day before the vote and I made a correct.
00:43I like to be correct, but I made a correct prediction.
00:47I don't know.
00:48I do say that when they made that deal, somebody said that it was and I remember this very distinctly.
00:54I said, could they do this all the time?
00:56It was a little bit of a restriction like 50 or 75 years before you could take another
01:01vote because, you know, a country can't go through that too much.
01:05I don't know the first minister, but I've heard great things about him.
01:08I've spoken to him.
01:10I hear very good things about him and I'm meeting him today.
01:14So maybe I'll have a better opinion then.
01:15Let me answer that straightforwardly because I believe in a stronger Scotland, in a better
01:21United Kingdom.
01:22And I think that at a time like this when it's quite clear that there's uncertainty and volatility
01:28around the world, the strength of the United Kingdom together is very important for all
01:34four nations, very important for Scotland and that should be our priority.
01:39That should be our focus, not on the politics, which feels like the politics of yesteryear
01:46now at a time like this.
01:49And I think that, you know, the first minister should probably focus more on his delivery in
01:57Scotland than on his constitutional issues and we might have a better health service in
02:02Scotland.
02:03But at a time like this, I think the United Kingdom is always stronger as four nations.
02:10I think that's better for all four nations.
02:12I think that's how Scotland is stronger.
02:16Look at the deal that we've been able to do with the United States, a really important
02:22deal that we made just months ago.
02:27That is what the United Kingdom can do when we act as a powerful set of four nations together
02:33and there are very many other examples.
