EU President Von Der Leyen Details Newly Agreed EU-US Trade Deal: '15% Tariffs Across The Board'

During a press briefing with President Trump, EU President Ursula von der Leyen discussed the US-EU trade deal.

00:08We have a trade deal between the two largest economies in the world.

00:16It's a big deal, it's a huge deal.

00:20It will bring stability, it will bring predictability,

00:24that's very important for our businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.

00:27It's 15% tariffs across the board, all inclusive.

00:33The investments, Mr. President just described,

00:37that are going to go to the United States and the purchases over there.

00:42Indeed, basically the European market is open, it's 450 million people.

00:48So it's a good deal, it's a huge deal.

00:53It was tough negotiations.

00:54I knew it at the beginning and it was indeed very tough,

00:58but we came to a good conclusion for both sides.
