Faye White says the Dutch manager was exactly what England needed to make the next step and win trophies
Transcript
00:00Yeah, she is just quite incredible. And she has been that missing link. I think when even when just after I'd retired and a few years after that, it was like we need we've got the ability.
00:11We've got the players. We're starting to get the resources. We're starting to get the backing from the FA with how it compares to what other club countries get.
00:18But now it's the next step. We need a manager where everything those players hear, they will believe and toe the line and just, you know,
00:28and that's only when someone who's won it and having done it in the way she did it, which is quite similar in that the Netherlands were on the same kind of level and paring with England.
00:37I think if we'd have got a coach that had come from America or Germany or something, you know, who their story had in the history has been very different.
00:46It might not have been effective as how it is in that sense. But she's took the Dutch team to Euros and then a final.
00:55And then to do that again with England, it's it's incredible.
00:59And if it was, yeah, in the men's game, I think they would be up there with the best, aren't they?
01:04And she is the best current manager without question.
