England manager Sarina Wiegman joins elite company after she won the Euros for a third consecutive time.
Transcript
00:00I mean I think we've nearly killed her twice this tournament. She said we've definitely aged her.
00:07She's probably one of the best managers I've played for in terms of trying to make everyone feel loved.
00:12She's a great manager. I think it's really enjoyable to play under her.
00:15Such an experienced manager but a manager that has experience winning.
00:30It was, as a player, a gif kicker. And so, after that, she's still coming.
00:44She's always trusted me. She always put me on the first eleven.
00:51And I was always saying what I was thinking. So yeah, she makes me also a better player.
00:57We want Serena Wiegman back. Yes.
01:00I just love Serena Wiegman. She's a really good player.
01:15She makes us feel so valued and you can see that in the way that we're playing, you know.
01:19Everyone brings something to the pitch, you know. Even the girls that have come on at the end, they've been unbelievable.
01:24Yeah, she's just an amazing person.
01:27The fact that she did it with the Netherlands, you know, and the fact that she did it in two back-to-back tournaments on home soil.
01:32She did it in the Netherlands, they were in the Netherlands.
01:34I genuinely wish she was there when I was there because I think she's been the major, major catalyst in this.
01:38And she's only been there not even a year.
01:40So now we won the Euros, now the expectations will go through the roof again.
01:44Well, first we're going to party.
01:46Going to party.
01:48It's coming up, it's coming up, it's coming up, it's coming up.
01:53It's everybody coming up.
01:55I must admit that I always think this is the most chaotic and ridiculous tournament
02:22we have played and every time we could come back because quarterfinal, semi-final, now
02:30in the final we came behind.
02:32She took the Dutch team to the Euros and then a final and then to do that again with England
02:38it's incredible and if it was in the men's game I think they would be up there with the
02:44best, aren't they?
02:45And she is the best current manager without question.
02:48Oh, she's bloody amazing, she's an incredible woman what she's done for this country, we
02:55should all be so grateful for what she's done for me individually, she gave me hope when
03:00I probably didn't have any and she gave me an opportunity to represent my country again.
