Ruffpad is an LCD writing tablet that allows users to draw, write, and erase content using a stylus and a pressure-sensitive surface. It functions by utilizing a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel that reflects light, creating the visible image. Applying pressure with the stylus changes the orientation of the liquid crystals, making them either reflective (visible) or non-reflective (dark). Pressing the erase button resets all the crystals to their non-reflective state, clearing the screen.
