00:00Phil Robertson's family says the patriarch left a special message before his passing.

00:05The Duck Dynasty star died at the age of 79, May 25th, after his battle with Alzheimer's disease.

00:11In an interview with TV Insider, published July 25th, Willie Robertson says,

00:16Phil had such a strong faith. He told us before,

00:19Do not cry at my funeral. I know where I'm going.

00:22Willie says,

00:23What a life he lived. We heard that from thousands of people, the people he impacted.

00:27Phil would have wanted us to do exactly what we're doing.

00:30Our show's a reflection of our faith.

00:32And though Phil was off camera during filming,

00:34Corey Robertson is glad the world got to see one of his final moments with Willie.

00:38He says,

00:38The timing was a little surreal.

00:40Our show came out the week Phil passed.

00:42It was really special to our family that we had that one little clip.

00:45We did film that one little thing where he gave Willie the thumbs up.

00:49It was really special for our family.

00:51It felt like, okay, this is his opportunity to pass the torch to us.
