00:00Attracted to each other, but have that core, that foundation of friendship.
00:14Then as life moves on through its stages, that friendship, love, real love, true love,
00:24unconditional love, will always be there.
00:28And so the relationship will always be there.
00:32And in the absence of love, which is why they do what they do,
00:36if love was part of their makeup, they wouldn't do what they do.
00:44And in a less extreme way, people who talk about love
00:52so often look at other people in society, not necessarily psychopathic people,
00:59but just people they disagree with or whatever, and they will condemn them.
01:05Say someone does something very unpleasant, and there's immediate condemnation.
01:14Now, I can see the reason for the reflex action condemnation of what's being done,
01:22whether it's someone going crazy with a gun or whatever,
01:25because of the effect on other people.
01:28I do see that.
01:30But what love also says is, why did that person do that?
01:37Attack society and, you know, between coming from a perspective of
01:45without love and coming from a perspective of love,
01:50you look at everyone as equally important.
01:58All people matter.
02:02And to condemn without knowing their story is to condemn any.
02:11But when you come from this point of view of love,
02:15this understanding that we're all expressions of each other,
02:18consciousness state that unifies all of us.
02:25It unifies humans with trees and animals.
02:30It unifies humans with the sky, with the rain, with the wind, with the air.
02:37And once we withdraw from that,
02:40this can only see the parts.
02:43This, this, can see the whole.
02:48So we have these phrases.
02:50We talk about psychopaths.
02:52We talk about evil.
02:54What is evil except the absence of love?
02:59Love is life.
03:01It's the energy, the very foundation of life.
03:07You spell evil backwards and it's live.
03:11Evil is an inversion of life because evil is the absence of love,
03:19the very source of life.
03:23And what the world needs to transform it is an infusion of what comes from here.
03:31Because what has created this reality that has so many, if you like, problems, has so many challenges,
03:43so many things we'd like not to be happening.
03:47What's created it is an absence of love.
03:50More and more, we have anti-hate organizations and anti-ate protests.
04:00You want to stop fascism?
04:05You want to stop the emergence of a fascist society?
04:10Well, stop acting like one then.
04:16You don't like hate, nor do I.
04:18Love is not to agree with everything.
04:30And it's not to roll over.
04:33I think I've got a fair record in the last 30 years of not rolling over.
04:37But it doesn't mean you have to hate the people that you're challenging and exposing,
04:45because if you do, you become them.
04:49And there's this other idea that love is weak.
04:53Always into love.
04:56What are you into?
04:56Oh, I'm strong.
04:59I'm anti-hate.
05:02Love is weak.
05:03Love is the very absence of what is perceived to be weakness.
05:13Why?
05:14Because it will always do what it knows to be right.
05:16Won't consider consequences for doing what it knows to be right.
05:19It will just do them.
05:20It's another birth.
05:22It's not death at all.
05:24So what is there to be frightened about in terms of that?
05:28What is there to be frightened about in terms of what people say about us?
05:33What have you?
05:35When we are on an infinite journey, and this is just an infinitesimal little grief experience,
05:41there is nothing to fear.
05:43Love knows that.
05:44So it will always stand up for what it knows to be right.
05:48You know, people talk about courage, which is a great thing.
05:53And typhus is breaking out in places.
05:55People will sit around a table and mentally discuss the problem and the economics of the problem.
06:06Love says,
06:07It can't happen.
06:11I don't care about your figures.
06:15I don't care about your calculator.
06:18I don't care what some accountant is telling you.
06:22Draw from that unity, that knowingness of unity, into the divisions of mind and the divisions of perceived, different, unconnected people events.
06:44Instead of realizing it's one seamless, that knows that.
06:50This doesn't, because it only sees parts.
06:53It doesn't see the whole.
06:54So love is far more than people have perceived it to be.
07:07It's not attraction.
07:10It can be an expression of it.
07:13It's friendship, unconditional love in our interaction, but is what has created what we see now.
07:24See you next time.
