00:00Hello, welcome to MBCubes, welcome to Microsoft Asset. It's out of the Windows 10 3D Viewer.
00:08It's out of my dinosaur basically, that's one of these. If it's got a specific name, it's over here.
00:14So if you want it, you can go to Microsoft itself. Go to Windows 3D Viewer on your desktop.
00:21Laptop, doesn't matter. And download the model. Now I can't give you the model and the skeleton together.
00:29Because, as I said, it's not my actual model. I'll show you the model. That's in there. It looks pretty great.
00:38I'm thinking, yep, I'm wanting Fred Van Alley because I want him to chase my character.
00:42Yeah, just because he does. As I said, not until my character gets older. Not when she's younger.
00:51But then again, you might not chase her, you might be her friend.
00:54So, as I said, Emma's a one-year-old girl. And you don't want that chasing you, because you wouldn't know what to do with that, really.
01:01So anyway, I'm going to explain how to use my content.
01:05So let's supposing you tiddle off and you go to the Windows 3D Viewer.
01:09Look at all the animals and so forth. And what I'm doing, I'm making skeletons like that for the characters.
01:17Now, how easy is it to use the characters? So let's say you downloaded Microsoft. You don't do nothing until stands out.
01:23So I'm thinking, okay, kind of great. So this is all you do. I'll get rid of all this.
01:29Now, what you do, if you're interested in the skeleton, go here. When you download the skeleton, if you download the skeleton.
01:37I'll just go to Downloads, it's not in there. So let me go to Downloads and I'll show you it. Go to Downloads.
01:44We've got two files in here. This one is the skin. The skin is the one from Microsoft. That's Microsoft. That's it. I can't share it with you, unfortunately.
01:53Now, I'll show you. Let's say you go to Microsoft and you download the creature, which is here.
01:58So you download it, you bring it in, and it looks like that. You're thinking, eh, that looks absolutely great.
02:03Turn it off. Load this one. You say, oh, hang on, there's nothing there. Now, you see there's nothing here. There's actually is.
02:11In the middle of that floor is a skeleton. I will show you. Now, don't think you're not getting nothing because you are.
02:18Watch. Go here. Import. Glyph 2 file. Go to here. Armature. Bring in the armature.
02:26Okay. Now, when you bring it in, click off here. Go here. Import. Import your download from Microsoft.
02:34The actual creature. Bring it in and it goes into the model like that.
02:40Now, of course, when you download the model from Microsoft, I'm going to tell you this because you might not know this.
02:46Okay. Now, you can click the model. When you download it from Microsoft, it's about this big.
02:51I think in here. Okay. That's kind of great. But how do I look at that inside that?
02:56Well, it's very easy. Just turn to the side view, any view you want. Click the skeleton and scale the skeleton.
03:04Okay. Look at it. Just kind of zoom into it. Digitize how you do it. Okay. So, you kind of scale it down.
03:10So, his fingers are in his fingers. His hands are inside his hands. And you kind of get the idea.
03:15So, just scale it. Look. Everything goes into his perfect place like that.
03:21When you're happy with it, the tongue is over there slightly. So, I think in here. Not quite in the middle of his mouth.
03:27But, okay. So, you can scale it a fraction more, probably. But, for now. We can think of it like that.
03:33You show his fingers, not actually inside his finger. So, I think in here. Yeah, okay. You've got to fiddle around with it.
03:38Because I can't hear it. So, just scale it down. Scale it back up. Until you get everything almost completely perfect. Like that.
03:47Once you have it with it, go here. Apply Transforms. Click the actual model. Go here. Apply Transforms.
03:55Click the model. On the keyboard. Click the skeleton. Go here. Come down to parent. Pair it with weights.
04:07Now, if we click the skeleton. And we go to move. Go here. Pose. We can click on Andy. Let's say his tail.
04:15Go to Wiggly. And wiggle his tail. You say, well, it didn't actually combine to it. Now, what would be the problem with that?
04:23I'll tell you what the problem is with that. Go back here. I'll show you. It didn't parent that because it's separate.
04:30I'll show you. Click that. Go here. Clear the parent. Click on it. Go here. Clear the armature. You don't need that. Go here.
04:42Come down to menu. Go to weld. Go here. Wild all of it. So, it's all welded. Sometimes Blender doesn't do it.
04:50Click on it. Hold control. Right onto the keyboard. Click. The actual skeleton. Go back to here.
04:58Parent. And parent's idea. Okay. Now click the parent. We want to be able to click a bone. Any bone we want.
05:05We can't click the bone yet. So, click on the skeleton. Go here. Parent. Click a bone. Any bone. And now we can look at his tail.
05:15How great was that? Click on his head. You can move his head. So, he's coming with you. So, you better subscribe.
05:23If not, I'm going to cut him loose. And he will watch you on the channel. Anyway, I'm only joking.
05:31Yeah. If you want to subscribe. Absolutely great. Perfect.
05:35As I say, you can do with the model. Obviously, whatever it is that you're going to do with it.
05:40As everyone moves his arms and legs. And you can see. All of it moves. So, it doesn't matter if he's, you know.
05:47It doesn't matter if he's a hundred foot tall. Just stick both of them. Go here.
05:52Let's go to the side. Now, obviously, we want to scale that. So, come out. Just come out of that. If you want to.
05:59Select the whole entire thing. Go to scale. And scale him up. Now he's almost T-Rex size. I think in green.
06:08When you're happy with him. Click on it. Back to here. Anime. And you can move. If you click on the model itself.
06:14Look. You can move the model. Not the skeleton. Don't move the model. Click the skeleton. Click his leg.
06:21Or, whichever part of the model you want. Make sure you click the skeleton. Go here. Skeleton. Pose it.
06:27Then you can pose his leg. You can do with it whatever you want. So, as I say. It's up to you.
06:32How you want to go about doing his legs and arms and so forth. Anyway, just a little video to kind of show you.
06:38I kind of want a quick version of the skeleton. So, as I say. If you download the skeleton.
06:43If you're going to do that. Like I said to you. When you download it. It's called here. Look.
06:50That's what it is. It's an armature. The armature. You can't see in the 3D viewer. You can't see.
06:56It is there. But you can't see. Okay. You have to load it into the blender. To be able to see the skeleton.
07:02Now, I will show you another way of doing that. If you're interested. So, let's leave. Let's leave that there.
07:10Okay. Because you might want to prefer to do it a different way. But it's up to you.
07:15Now, because I've saved my. Because I've exported it. As a glyph holder. This is what I can do now.
07:21I can click on this. I can get rid of that. If I click on this one. On the skeleton. Go here. Select all of it.
07:28Now, the whole way of doing the skeleton. If you go to export. It's called here. Motion capture.
07:35Now, you normally do a motion capture. If you're doing an OBJ model. I'll show you. Leave it like that.
07:42Okay. Just go. Okay. Get rid of this. And get rid of that.
07:47Okay. Go back here. Now, if you do. I'll show you. If you do the motion capture. It looks like this. You can't look at it.
07:56Okay. But watch what happens when you import it. Go here. Import motion capture.
08:03Import the motion capture. Say yeah. And we don't just look. It's on the floor.
08:09And I hold it on. If you see the line on the floor. What you have to do. Is go to over here.
08:15Go to rotate. Rotate Ignited. And say yeah. Now, if that's the top. It's on top. It's not. It's on the side block.
08:24Okay. So, go here. Go to minus 90. And there we go. The opposite way around.
08:31So, as I said. I don't want to keep doing that. Look. It is the right way now. Look. That's how it is.
08:36So, of course. This is the size of the skeleton now. As I said. This is the motion capture file.
08:42But the same messing around with the settings. I don't do that. I'll just go here. Import.
08:48Import Glyph folders. Import the armature. The armature. The armature comes straight in.
08:54Go here. Import my other template of the Microsoft skin. Import that.
09:00The only thing I have to do with the skin. The only thing I have to do.
09:04Go here. Here. Come to the bottom. Weld it. Go here. Apply all.
09:10And now I'm comparing that to that. And that is it. Then I can cause having it run around the level.
09:16And chasing Emma. Or chasing maybe you. Anyway. It's up to you. That's how you do it.
09:22If you want to see the full making of the skeleton. And about Microsoft. Watch the log. Watch the video log.
09:28The video log longer. But I do get to show you a whole lot more. Anyway. I really hope you like the content.
09:34And to everyone who has subscribed. And anybody thinking about it.
09:40Stay safe. Keep it friendly. And thank you very much. See you soon. Bye.
