Kanoa Igarashi talks about the new Wavegarden project in Óbidos, Portugal.

00:00It's crazy to see the evolution of WaveGarden, they're innovating the sport,

00:03you know, they're the ones helping us and for me I want to give back as much as I

00:07can. You know, to see the wave pool, you know, just in a few years evolve so much

00:12is, you know, it's really exciting for surfing. It's the future of surfing and

00:16it's growing, you know, before our eyes faster than we can we can imagine. You

00:21know, I've served turn waves, barrel waves, airwaves, a little bit of everything so,

00:25you know, my brain is just trying to process all the different types of waves.

00:28You know, there's actually more variety in a pool than actually in the ocean, you

00:32know. One day of surfing you never get to to do airs, barrels, and turns on the same

00:36day so, you know, for training, for having fun, it's, you know, you get a bit of

00:41everything so it's very, very special.
